24 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: *Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive*
24 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: Get outta here.
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: I can't die because Austria turned on me for their own selfish needs!
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Don't lie to yourself. You died spring 1901 when you turned on me for your own selfish needs rather than working with me against a very skillful Russian player and their Turkish ally.
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: They were on my side, I just don't know if they are anymore.
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: I believe you will become a better player once you understand that they were never on your side. A Russian and Turkish alliance will inevitably attack Italy once conquering Austria.
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: I've seen otherwise, like when Turkey and Italy turn on Russia.
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Yes but then you needed to be allies with either Turkey or Russia not both. I believe the critical turn was when you moved ION - Adr which enabled France and Turkey to squeeze you out of the Mediterranean. There were plenty of ways you could have convinced France to attack England instead and moved your fleet in ION to Eastern Med. In my chats with France they've been a super friendly and reasonable person so I believe this tactic would have worked.
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Just wondering, how long have you been playing Diplomacy, I am kind of new, I'm just wondering how long until I'm decent?
30 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: I have been playing on and off for the past 5 years but I've only recently started reading and watching more strategy and improved. There are lots of resources out there; the first I'd recommend is https://brotherbored.com/diplomacy/ (written by swordsman3003 on this platform).
31 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Reading strategy does help for sure. A mentor does, too. I had the world champ carebear teach me a bunch. :)
31 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Diplomacy has a lot of very standard moves, especially at the beginning. I found that once I knew some of the strategies of the moves better, that I did better at knowing if people were lying to me. Did their move suggestion make sense strategically?

02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: New Turkey?
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: New Turkey!
10 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1906: gg
10 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1906: gg!
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Let’s draw
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: One more year, and Turkey's gone. It'd be nice if we all moved back from the conflict lines so nobody gets tempted to stab...
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: You first lol
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Is there any way to help me back in the game?
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Nope, you are defeated, that means the game is over for you
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: No, I can influence the world as a spirit, like Yoda.
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Ah, yes the Diplomacy master
18 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: From your hideout in Tuscany I see
18 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Be quiet...
20 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Almost over now...
23 Jun 20 UTC Is anyone waiting for something in particular?
23 Jun 20 UTC I drew
23 Jun 20 UTC I'm waiting for Armenia, Syria, North Africa, and Albania to be taken.

23 Jun 20 UTC Good game, everyone!
23 Jun 20 UTC Weird game. I got too damn lucky right at the start and Germany freaked and gave up on attacking England. France was occupied with Italy, so the only thing left was to stab Turkey (Sorry about that, original Turkey, but the EG alliance didn't leave me much choice). GG!
23 Jun 20 UTC I "freaked and gave up on England" at the same time as you turned to attack me having finished Austria.
23 Jun 20 UTC But yeah, early Russia snowball made playing deny the solo my strategy
23 Jun 20 UTC Good game all. Surprised I survived
23 Jun 20 UTC Thank you Russia for being too good, it saved my hide :)
23 Jun 20 UTC Yes, I survived in my hideout in Tuscany.
23 Jun 20 UTC Germany, I didn't say freaking out wasn't the smart move...
23 Jun 20 UTC Ugh I really wanted to convince France to leave me in Venice since that was on the stalemate line. Sadly you weren't quite threatening enough for me to convince them of that Russia.

Very much enjoyed playing with you all, especially gwentifyre and scrodz! GG
23 Jun 20 UTC Fair Russia, Fair.
23 Jun 20 UTC I wanted to leave you in Venice, Austria, just cause you were awesome to play with. But I learned in this game to play for the long term, even if you expect a draw to come..
23 Jun 20 UTC By the way, I just joined a game with the name Mandragora Dream 15 if anyone else wants to do that one! I like playing anonymous cause I've had trouble with f2f players not wanting to play with women, but if any of you start an invite game, happy to join!
23 Jun 20 UTC Yeah that was the plan! Try to be as nice as possible and garner your pity :)

You definitely made the right call eliminating me though, I think I would have done the same in your position.

God that's awful to see players like that who don't want to play with women. The Boston Massacre tournament just saw Tanya Gill as champion. It's absolutely ridiculous this blatant discrimination is still rampant.
23 Jun 20 UTC I joined the Mandragora game - but no promises of an alliance!
23 Jun 20 UTC Well, don't tell me which country you get until after. I'll see if you're as nice this time. LOL.
23 Jun 20 UTC That's awesome that a woman won the tournament! When I played f2f at GenCon one guy would literally not say anything to me until he saw I could play. Sigh.
23 Jun 20 UTC Yeah I'm still fairly new to this site but I believe it would be against Code of Conduct to reveal my country.
23 Jun 20 UTC Btw @gwenifyre, do you think you could PM me? I'm trying to have a way to contact people I enjoy playing with so that in the future I could potentially start private games with them.
