18 May 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck, everyone!
18 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1901: Nice to see everybody online!
18 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1901: No kidding! Live round? lol
20 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: <insert rant about Austria backstabbing here>
20 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: then what was you moving to vienna before i talked to you about anything, and what was moving into the balkans, and what was you lying about everything you said to me in the beginning. My case is closed and my rant finished
20 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: LIAR!

"(AUSTRIA) Autumn, 1901: he informed me that everyone was against me and that he was along for the ride, so I can assume that he intends to move into vienna. i would like to support you into there so that my friend would have it rather than my enemy? what are your thoughts?"

"(ITALY) Autumn, 1901: I'm convoying to Greece to give you some backup, so yeah, moving back to Trieste makes the most sense to me."

"(ITALY) Spring, 1901: Secondly, my specific intentions in moving. As per the standard Lepanto, I will open to Apulia and Ionian. I'm also moving to Tyrolia. I can protect Vienna in case it is threatened. Again, I have no intention of stabbing you; if Vienna is not threatened, I will peacefully return to Venice. But we would both rather have the option of protecting Vienna if it were under threat of siege, wouldn't we?"

I spoke not a single lie to you! The only change I made was moving to Vienna from Tyrolia - AT YOUR BEHEST!

Austria is nothing but a filthy backstabbing liar, and I hope the rest of you make yourselves acutely aware of that fact.
20 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: I'll even printscreen the conversations if you want!
20 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902:
20 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Apologies for the size (almost 3 MB). You'll see what I mean.
20 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Uploaded again, smaller size:
21 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: So, Italy. What was your doing in Tyrolia if not to attack Austria? Seeing as you had agreements with both me, France and Austria, what was YOUR plans of expansion without beeing a backstabber yourself?
21 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: I don't care about the backstab in and of itself. The "<insert rant>" part was a joke. And I told you guys already, in my messages, my plan with Tyrolia. It was to protect Vienna and Munich from attacks. Shall I printscreen my message to you showing such?

My frustration comes when someone combines the duplicity of a backstab with the cowardice of falsely accusing me of being a treacherous liar. You've seen all my messages. Every single one of them was truthful. I didn't violate any of them. Austria stabbing me is... unfortunate, but acceptable. His subsequent attempt to justify it through lying and slander was not, hence the reaction.
21 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: This is a PM i got from Italy, the first that happened in the game. Am i the only one?

Spring, 1901: OK, Turkey, I have a couple of things about which we ought to talk.

Firstly, I am opening with a Lepanto and moving to Tyrolia. That sounds rather threatening to you, and in a sense it is. But if you avoid making one particular move, I will immediately switch allegiances from Austria to you and we may invade Austria together. If you do not move your fleet to Constantinople, I will ally with you against Austria. The only term of our alliance, should it happen, is that neither of us build fleets until W1904. The one area where Italy and Turkey get into trouble with each other is when both try to dominate the Mediterranean; and with France focused on the West and Austria dead soon, if we both do not build fleets then we will have no conflict.

Just remember, I'm starting with a Lepanto to set Austria up. If you want some easy SCs and lasting Mediterranean peace, you'll not move your fleet to Constantinople and accept my alliance proposal. I hope you enjoy it; I'm looking forward to working with you!
21 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: You were in fact. I was planning on giving you the shaft by following through with the Lepanto while you didn't build fleets. Austria and Russia both have the right story. Luckily for you Austria didn't give me a chance. =P

I'll say it again: the stab *itself* was fine with me, in the sense that I'm fine with being stabbed, it's part of the game we play (though I obviously didn't like *being* stabbed, hey, it happens). But Austria didn't need to justify the stab. It was a well-played stab, and it was effective. It was the obvious lies and attempts to out me as a backstabber against him (when I clearly was not) that I didn't like (hence the reaction it got).
21 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Look man I was trying to work with you until I was informed of your attempt to betray me in northern austria. I was upset that you were going to do that so I played along until it was time to strike first. And as for your first plan how was moving to the balkans and taking tyrolia help me in anyway.
21 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: You were informed falsely. I suppose Turkey told you? Because as I said, Turkey is the only one who was expecting me to stab you, and with good reason - I lied to him. I told you already how Tyrolia was to help: defend my ally Germany in Munich or defend you in Vienna in case of Russian attack. And the Balkans? Honestly, that should be easy to see - assist the Lepanto by dropping anti-Turkish reinforcements.

Besides all of that, you just changed your story from the first message. Just fess up: it was a nice stab, bravo, but don't slander me in the process.
24 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: The backstabber getting stabbed. The irony of fate!
24 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: At last, i knew that it was possible to conquer Moscow.
