06 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Nice move into Piedmont, Russia. You just won the game with that move. Well Played.
06 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: They won the game a long time ago.
06 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yep.
06 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: But before this move Turkey and Russia would be able to split me up and possibly form a balance. His units there puts him in sole control of all my SCs.
06 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Truth is Russia played an excellent game, and I am congratulating him/her.
06 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: I completely agree that Russia played an excellent game but they can grab four centers this turn alone and will not need any French centers to solo. A pity our friend in Ankara didn’t choose to stop the Czar when he had the chance.
07 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: I am sorry. I thought i would have time to move against him and then i was not well placed to move against him... I still believe we can stop a russians solo. Won't be easy but still doable
08 May 20 UTC Spring, 1908: no worries. Not your fault. We all made moves and decisions that best suited our current situation. Some decisions were based on what I thought allies would do and they did not. Some on what I thought enemies would do when they did not. Part of the game. GG everyone.
08 May 20 UTC Spring, 1908: one of the things did that screwed me up was asking Russia to take English SCs right when he could. It showed my desperation. He may have taken them right away if I would have just kept my mouth shut. He also knew that he could be patient because England would never turn on him.
11 May 20 UTC Good game all, my first ever solo! Sorry for not being active in the public press the last few turns, didn't want to jinx it. The move into Pie actually wasn't my idea, I was trying to make sure Turkey didn't stab me and asked how I could help vs Italy. She/he requested I move to Pie. Put me in perfect position to do the stab myself in Autumn of 07. In hindsight the fact that Turkey took Tri with a fleet (and kept a fleet there) was the key imho. Made it very hard for them to stab me and easy for me to stab them. I felt bad for stabbing Turkey, but glad to hear s/he was thinking of moving against me.

England also decided they would rather see me solo than a draw with France, which was obviously very helpful and one of the reasons I didn't go for the English SCs. If England and France had decided to team up in 1905 together they might have been able to stop my momentum in the north.

Anyways, good game all! I am surprised that I was able to win given the early Austrian/German attack, but maybe that resulted in me being viewed as not a threat until it was too late.
11 May 20 UTC Good game everyone!
11 May 20 UTC Good game
11 May 20 UTC Yes I had a window to stab you early on but that was not my plan and when I saw Italy put such a good fight against me while you progressed so well I knew it would be hard for me so I tried to have you expand too much (like i did myself) but it proved not sufficient... Congrats !

11 May 20 UTC HUZZAH!
11 May 20 UTC Well played Russia!
