I sure got spit-roasted hard by Greece and Egypt this game. I tried being a nuisance to both of them after that to help Carthage or Rome gain ground vs them.

yeah, i prob coulda kept it going and fought egypt but i was really poorly positioned to fight rome and greece in north so i didnt wanna risk it failing
