28 Mar 20 UTC that was really idiotic
28 Mar 20 UTC Wow, what was this?!
28 Mar 20 UTC Thanks Czech!
28 Mar 20 UTC He wanted me gone.
28 Mar 20 UTC yep, I didt want to. So it was up to him to press draw.
28 Mar 20 UTC Gg ... until the last 300 turns
28 Mar 20 UTC On the one hand I can understand him. England should have taken StP about 100 years ago. On the other hand it was clear it wouldn´t happen anymore. Especially if you try to solo when I am going for Russia.
28 Mar 20 UTC England, it took you forever to get the clue to eliminate Russia. Had you done it any of the 6 times I supported you or Germany into stp it would have ended
28 Mar 20 UTC Obviously he didn’t want to, Czech
28 Mar 20 UTC I just didnt want to slaughter player who made his way to stalemate.
28 Mar 20 UTC you should accept it the first year.
28 Mar 20 UTC Maybe after, oh I don’t know, 2-3 tries you give up. How many did you do?
28 Mar 20 UTC I thought diplomacy is a game of gentlemans. Obviously not.
28 Mar 20 UTC for five points!
28 Mar 20 UTC I was watching RuPaul. It cost me nothing to hit ready
28 Mar 20 UTC I’m kind of surprised it was a veteran player delaying the draw like that. Usually it’s a new player who needlessly extends a game like that
28 Mar 20 UTC really rude.
28 Mar 20 UTC That’s just petty, Czech. You’re bigger than that. I’m disappointed in you.
28 Mar 20 UTC England should have just eliminated Russia and the thong would have been over! Russia not really played that great that he should be part of a draw. The stab of Turkey was obvious years ago, but he still just was fighting me.
28 Mar 20 UTC The only thing why I am disappoingted in you, Turkey, that you have tried to solo again when I was going to eliminate Russia. That´s not that fair play.
28 Mar 20 UTC Thats your ethics. My ethics tells me that the game is drawn when stalemate is reached.
28 Mar 20 UTC And decision was up to me, not you.
28 Mar 20 UTC I was waiting to see how long it would take the mods to draw the game.
28 Mar 20 UTC That's nice England. It was up to you.
28 Mar 20 UTC so experienced players and problems like that. I just cant get that...
28 Mar 20 UTC I am with you. I would have drawn much earlier than him, but I can understand that it has been really unnecessary to let Russia be part of a draw.
28 Mar 20 UTC As is always the case, at least for me, I had a sense a stab was coming and I didn’t listen to my inner Diplo-Sense. But, if I backed up and defended, Germany is on my doorstep. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t. At least for playing so poorly, says you, I got the same score as everyone else.
28 Mar 20 UTC good night.
28 Mar 20 UTC You’re being selfish, Czech. Again, I’m disappointed in you as you’re bigger than that.
28 Mar 20 UTC You have to know that there are some unwritten rules between "experienced players"
1.) Do everything to prevent a solo! Greedy players will not be well-received.
2.) If there isn´t any solo threat, shorten the draw as much as possible.
28 Mar 20 UTC yea - shorten the draw. But BEFORE stalemate is reached. Stalemate is the end of the game.
28 Mar 20 UTC In my perspective russian played way better than german. Germany was in "must win" situation after opening game, but was waaay tooo sloow afterwards...
28 Mar 20 UTC Shorten the draw all the time when it´s possible and there isn´t a threat that someone could solo. That´s the same reason why I eliminated Italy and France. The were resperctively could have been part of the stalement line too, but there was no need for it.
28 Mar 20 UTC I played, ok. Not great. Most of my issues were dealing with Turkey needlessly hampering me early, but never really attacking me. It was annoying and in 1904 turkey was really not anywhere significant either. It was like he wanted to slow us both. Then, obviously I should have tried to stop the stab. But frankly, the game was dragging a bit and I said, what the hell ... and pressed on Germany
28 Mar 20 UTC The only reason I went back and tried for the solo was because England seemed real confused on what to do.
28 Mar 20 UTC I could have played it slowly and eliminated you first. But that would not have changed that I have to get Tunis or Warsaw to win. The only chance to get one of these was to do an suprise attack when noone was exscpecting that it would come already. I misscalculated that, because I didn´t expsect that Italy would throw all units against me instantly.
28 Mar 20 UTC But at the least at the end of 1908/start of 1909 Russia has to turn around against Turkey, because he was the obvious solo threat.
28 Mar 20 UTC Czech, YOU seemed confused too. Stop blaming England for your actions, or inactions.
28 Mar 20 UTC GG
28 Mar 20 UTC So I turn around and you come at me from behind.
28 Mar 20 UTC To make longs stories short: It wasn´t that great from both sides.
28 Mar 20 UTC I would never have attacked you, because I have seen that Turkey was going to win
28 Mar 20 UTC Would have been fine if Czech hit draw and didn’t drag the game out to the Great Depression.
28 Mar 20 UTC You say that now.
28 Mar 20 UTC I completetly agree.
28 Mar 20 UTC You can believe me. I wouldn´t have attacked you!
28 Mar 20 UTC Ok sure
28 Mar 20 UTC Moderator: (Claesar): Ugh, I signed up for this game and then forgot all about it. It's a shame this caused a delay for you all and hopefully you still had fun.
28 Mar 20 UTC Wow you guys played this forever. Czech really wanted those 6 extra diplomacy coins!
28 Mar 20 UTC Also good game everyone. @germany if you had waited maybe a year before stabbing me, I think you would've had the game
