21 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Alright, Wyatt. I'm in.
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: FYI per wikipedia my formal title is:

His Imperial and Royal Apostolic Majesty,
By the Grace of God Emperor of Austria,
King of Hungary and Bohemia, Dalmatia, Croatia, Slavonia, Galicia, Lodomeria and Illyria;
King of Jerusalem, etc.;
Archduke of Austria;
Grand Duke of Tuscany and Cracow;
Duke of Lorraine, Salzburg, Styria, Carinthia, Carniola and Bukovina;
Grand Prince of Transylvania, Margrave of Moravia;
Duke of Upper and Lower Silesia, of Modena, Parma, Piacenza and Guastalla, of Auschwitz and Zator, of Teschen, Friaul, Ragusa and Zara;
Princely Count of Habsburg and Tyrol, of Kyburg, Gorizia and Gradisca;
Prince of Trent and Brixen;
Margrave of Upper and Lower Lusatia and in Istria;
Count of Hohenems, Feldkirch, Bregenz, Sonnenberg etc.;
Lord of Trieste, of Cattaro and on the Windic March;
Grand Voivode of the Voivodeship of Serbia
etc., etc.
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I will accept Grand Voivode of the Voivodeship for short
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I'm here
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Grand Prince of Transylvania
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: What's the difference between a hold and a support hold, and what happens if two people try to move to the same place on the same move
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: If two people move to the same location (without support or with equal amounts of support) both moves fail and the two units return to their original locations.
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Hold = that unit is holding.
Support hold = the unit is supporting a unit that is holding. e.g. if my unit in Vienna holds, and my unit in Budapest support holds Vienna, then my unit in Vienna can withstand an attack of strength 2, but my unit in Budapest can only withstand 1.
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Same with move & support move.
Move = that unit is moving
Support move = supporting a unit that is moving.

Without support the move has strength 1, with support it has strength X+1 where X=number of units supporting the move
22 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: One frequent point of confusion: A move gains strength ONLY WITH SUPPORT. If two of your units move to the same location, that counts as two attacks that both have strength one. (In fact, both moves will fail - because two attacks of equal strength will cancel out - therefore the two units would return to their original locations.) To give the attack strength two, one unit must move and the other unit must support that move.
24 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: So just as a gut check... does everyone understand what has happened so far and what's happening now? And has everyone been checking messages on this site?
25 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1902: This map is very busy and hard to understand
25 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1902: Yeah the builds added a layer of chaos. There's an "expand" button below the map that makes it a little easier to see.

Yellow star = newly built unit (everyone who captured a supply center gets one a new unit for every center captured)
Yellow line = support move. e.g. Jason & I both supported the move of my tank from Budapest to Rumania.
Red line with no X = the move succeeded
Red line with X = the move failed, either because it was against a unit that held (e.g. my move against Chris from Trieste to Venice) or because two units moved to the same location (e.g. Jason & Jon both moved into Sweden)

20 Apr 20 UTC Greetings Citizens of our Beautiful Continent,

Peace is finally taking root in our lands. I look forward to ushering in a new age of enlightenment, in which prosperity reigns supreme. May we thrive together under our united French flag, may the baguettes and assortments of cheese be plentiful, and may we sing songs of freedom in our native tongue. For today, we are all French.

Humbly,
The Prince of France and Europe
