Game won by BehindtheMule (100 D)
18 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'm probably going to be attacked hardcore by all of you lol
24 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
24 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Who missed?
24 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Not me.
25 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
25 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Hey guys new France here. Looking for allies, so hit me up
25 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Old France put me in a great situation
25 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Indeed
29 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1905: I do not know if I can be any help in the near future
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1905: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
01 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1905: Sorry guys I think that might have been me. A man trying to do two things at the same time. So Sorry!
02 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1905: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
02 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1905: new italy folk
13 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
14 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1906: Guess you can’t bump convoys then.
14 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1906: As a non biased point of order, I thought if you attacked a convoying ship, it could not convoy. But hey the version of the rules in my head is 40 yrs old?!
14 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1906: The convoy ship must be displaced to stop the convoy. So support holding a convoy ship is effective.
14 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1906: Agh
15 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1906: You totally could have dislodged north sea too. I got lucky.
16 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1906: Again I only thought I needed a bump. But hey, learn something new every day.
21 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Please be safe wherever you are, and be kind and considerate to others.
03 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
07 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: Hey turkey, what are you waiting for?
07 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: Just having a think, I am new to this.
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: I meant the draw vote.
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: New England here. I have shamelessly entered just to draw. I hope, Turkey, that you are an experienced player who knows full well that the game cannot continue with the stalemate we've reached ;-)
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: No on both counts
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: Where are your next two centers potentially coming from, then? You can't get spain or portugal, you can't get munich, you can't get warsaw, and you can't get moscow.
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: I appreciate your view, but I am new to this and need to work through it.
On a separate note, does it annoy you that people take on positions like this just to get a draw!
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: You were hoping that nobody would take over England, and you would have an easy ride towards a solo with an absent player? And if I'm allowed to continue my somewhat ironic discourse, what other reason would you expect somebody to take a country over for? There's a pretty limited selection of options: lose, win, draw. Should it annoy you less, I'd go for a win, but you'd need to help me a little bit ;-)
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: Alright, let's talk through it. You can't get into a position to take moscow without taking ukraine. But you can't get into ukraine as long as I have both moscow and warsaw. You can't take warsaw without getting into either ukraine or silesia. You can't get into silesia without taking either munich or warsaw. you can't take munich without forcing your way into burgundy. you can't take burgundy without getting into gascony. You can't get into gascony without taking one of spain or mid-atlantic. You can't get into spain or the mid-atlantic without being in the north atlantic, and that's not possible.
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: Did I miss anything?
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: That was a breathtaking passage, Germany! Totally agreed. Plus, to secure MOS, it's be enough to expedite NWY into STP.
11 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1910: Dreaded missed order!
12 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Happens, we also messed up with Germany.
12 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: I will retake Marseilles next turn. No harm no foul. If you want to expand, may I suggest Munich.?
12 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: If your alliance with Germany is solid, all is well for you, and we will head toward a boring draw. Is Germany likely to turn on you? If he was considering thus I have done you a favour in Central Europe
13 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: I was planning on betraying england before the new player stepped in, but as we established, we're working toward a three-way draw and to that end, you're the only enemy on the board.
13 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: well said
13 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Well said indeed!
17 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1911: As it seems, I won't be able to take an easy draw ;-) Well player, Turkey!
17 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1911: Thank you,
19 Apr 20 UTC Germany, can we tick this on off?
19 Apr 20 UTC Gentlemen, I am new to diplomacy on the tinterweb. If I have won, do I have to do anything, or will the game just stop once retreats are done?
19 Apr 20 UTC Correct. Game over after retreats.
19 Apr 20 UTC Thx
20 Apr 20 UTC Again thanks for the game everyone. Keep safe.
20 Apr 20 UTC Congrats on your first win!
20 Apr 20 UTC Thx
