17 Jan 20 UTC ...Alright...I confess I didn't see this end coming. VERY surprised to see this conclusion. Guess no one was really confident in their ability to close it out without being crushed.

17 Jan 20 UTC My view is that most of you were simply doing me a favour and helping me wrap my games. I really appreciate it. Thank you all.
17 Jan 20 UTC England, you have nine lives. Well played.
17 Jan 20 UTC Good game!
17 Jan 20 UTC Nine Lives That is completely true,
17 Jan 20 UTC Gunboat Training aka “How not to pull off a stab as Italy” ;D

I’m surprised too - I thought we were heading towards a French solo, actually, with Turkey’s stab on Russia. If you could have got an army onto Britain, it would have made it easier to finish off England, and cutting support from Denmark for Kiel would have begun Germany’s collapse. Still, it’s easy to say these things in hindsight and from an outside perspective.

Good game, folks, and I’m surprised and relieved to be part of the draw!
17 Jan 20 UTC Me especially. I have 9 lives!
17 Jan 20 UTC That you do!

Yeah - not sure what the calculus was. Could have been a "I CAN win this...but to do so would be long and drawn out, and this game has already gone on long enough!"
