01 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: New Germany here!
01 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Welcome. Are you now a republic or just the Kaiser's son?
01 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: The most cruel Kaiser has just been assassinated. In his place we have instated a glorious republic!
01 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Do all republics have a President? I think the Romans called Consul.
And I always assumed Kaiser was actually a corruption if Caesar.
01 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: What is up with Spellcheck? (I think the Romans called theirs Caesar)
01 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Consul! It's late.
02 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: We call our president "Your non-royal majesty"

Fun fact! Kaiser is a corruption of Caesar but did you know that Czar (Tsar) is a corruption of Caesar as well:

Ivan the Great of Russia married the niece of the last Byzantine Emperor. Since the Byzantine empire was merely a continuation of Rome and Ivan the Great married into the final descendants of the Byzantines, he declared Russia the continuation of the continuation of the Roman empire. Thus declaring Moscow the third Rome (Rome, Constantinople, Moscow). He also gave himself the title of Czar which is merely Russian for Caesar!

The name Kaiser is derived from the Holy Roman Empire. King Charlemagne declared himself emperor which, given Germanic influence adapted into the title Kaiser.

Us modern and sophisticated Germans do not associate ourselves with the name Kaiser because the Holy Roman empire was neither holy, nor Roman, nor an empire!

Also, the name Kaiser is reserved only for those above a king. We do not believe in such power.
02 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Thank you, Professor! Yes, that's all true and very informative. Shall we now discuss Khan as in Khanate? Surely not another connection with Khaesar?
03 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
03 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: It seems I am unfamiliar with those relationships. Perhaps you could educate a fellow scholar?
