From my perspective though, the Adriatic humidity and all those beautiful yet mouldy buildings were wreaking havoc with my sinuses. And it seems likely that if France loses Rome, she will simply retreat into Naples. Quite a confusing conundrum. | |
| Spring, 1903: And Austria, while your observations seem superficially accurate, and it is true that Germany has thus far never invaded French territory and France has never invaded Germany territory, correct me if I've misread the map but did Austria not just support German forces eastwards - my guess would be so that Germany could better engage her eastern neighbour. Generally, one tends to lend military assistance to allies. Are Austria and Germany allied? Inquiring minds want to know. | |
