09 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1912: Let’s kill Russia and then draw.
09 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 1912: Oh no, by all means keep going.
10 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1912: I could see a draw over Germany-Italy-Austria-Russia. I bet that one of them might see the solo potential that waits. I see it.
20 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1914: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
20 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1914: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): I've noted the delay
23 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1914: Thank you, sir. You're a man of your word.
23 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1914: Thank you, sir. You're a man of your word.
29 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1915: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Pausing for player substitution
29 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 1915: Has fritz run away?
01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1915: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Gunboating while I continue to search for an appropriate sub
03 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1915: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Welcome welcome to our new player. I'll re-set the phase so everyone has a bit of time to get acquainted.
03 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1915: Welcome, and good luck!
03 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1915: Hi all. I'll read up on prior communications to get a feel for this game. Feel free to contact me, of course. I like to think I'm a sensible player.
07 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: It's impossible for me to go a game without misorder, it seems.
07 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: At least your predecessor's game didn't begin that way.
07 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: 16 years... and no obvious conclusion any time soon...

What's the record for a Master's game?
07 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: This is the most fun I've had playing this game in a long time.
08 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: I've never seen an Italian fleet in Bar before.
08 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: (or in StP, for that matter ;)
08 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): hmmm, I would have to go back and double-check, but I think its gameID=60765. With second place being gameID=55581.

I know that at least in the last iteration there were mandatory draws in effect at 1930. But I did away with those this time around, so go on as long as you please.
08 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: An underrated part of this game is the Italian Iceland up there. That makes me very happy. I'm also, as you might've guessed, partial to the Austrian Paris.
08 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: Enjoy it while it lasts.
10 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1916: My money's on Russia.
14 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1917: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
17 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1918: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): This looks likely to extend as well.

I will be reaching out to all three of you to see why orders aren't being entered.
18 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1918: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
18 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1918: Moderator: (bo_sox48): Paused through Saturday.
18 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1918: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): To clarify, this is an emergency pause for the virus
21 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1918: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused. If anyone has further problems please contact me
23 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1918: I'm putting a draw vote up.
26 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1918: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Likely to be an NMR here. I've pre-emptively contacted the player
04 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1920: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
05 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1920: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Pausing this to substitute a player for a medical emergency
06 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1920: Hey all! I'll take a deeper look at the game later, though at first it does not seem as if I have much a say on anything, so... Anyway, it is an honour to join you, and good luck to all!

To the previous Germany, I wholeheartedly wish a quick and full recovery!
06 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1920: Hear hear!

Do we know if he's caught the fashionable lurgy currently favoured by celebrities across the globe, or a more mundane malady? Regardless, all the best to him :)
06 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1920: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused.

I don't know what caused the prior player to withdraw - I didn't ask.
06 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1920: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): All I know is that it was medical
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1920: Lol!

I thought you might try it this year :p. A good attempt, but you won't get to 18 :)
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1920: Look Italy, I was merely suspicious about your actions and seeing your orders I was right about it. I am honestly surprised I have more centers than you right now. I never was good in Maths.
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1920: Of course, which is why the Western Med fleet was sailing in my direction all year and the north of the UK was surrounded by units for a single German fleet :p.

No need to try and cover it up. It was a good stab :)
14 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1921: Cheers for stepping in, Germany. Much appreciated :)
14 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1921: I tried Germany. Wasn't meant to be :(
15 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1921: Hey, Italy! Thanks! Didn't have much to do in this game, but helping a great tournament run smoothly is an honour. Good luck to all!

And, especially, thank you, Austria! Your wholehearted effort was very remarkable. Wish you well!
17 Apr 20 UTC Thank you for the game guys!
17 Apr 20 UTC Congratulations to all!
18 Apr 20 UTC gg.
18 Apr 20 UTC Congratulations, drawers!
18 Apr 20 UTC Thought I had a shot to make a run there, but I bungled it. Oh well, that's just how it turns out sometime.
18 Apr 20 UTC I know I bungled my opening year, but France's non-communication during the early game was a hard pill to swallow.
18 Apr 20 UTC The opening year was so long ago I'd completely forgotten :p.

Shame it had to end in a draw, but ultimately it was France's call in the end. It might have been interesting to see what life could have been breathed back into it, and I'll long wonder what would have happened if France had delayed the stab one more year, but such is life.

Lots of back and forth, lots of fun :)
