12 Jan 20 UTC @England and Russia. Mind my asking why you kept attacking me, instead of form a defensive position to stop the solo?
12 Jan 20 UTC Honestly once Italy was past Marseilles, Spain, Mid-Atlantic, ect I wonder if it was even possible to stop Italy. Those places are the stalemate lines as I know them and once you're past... basically impossible to stop.

My mistake was siding with Russia and attacking Italy without a second Fleet.
Tried to play the line too long...I wasn't paying enough attention to the surrounding world
12 Jan 20 UTC Yeah, and honestly, you hit me without enough to back it up, so I was able to fight back.
12 Jan 20 UTC I thought it was possible
12 Jan 20 UTC @France - Sure, do you have an example of what year specifically you are thinking of? Honestly I would have given you the room to defend, but you didn't seem terribly interested in stopping Italy yourself. Did I misread that?

Well played Italy.
12 Jan 20 UTC Since I turned around to face him. Then you stabbed me.
13 Jan 20 UTC Honestly I was kinda thinking we needed England to reclaim centers, since between France and them they were the ones who could build with new conquests

But...at the end yeah wasn’t sure if Russia waited too long in trying to rush forward or if we could have formed a stalemate line
14 Jan 20 UTC I'm still not clear on what turn you mean. Italy made aggressive builds in '07. By '08 you had moved into Denmark, Norwegian Sea and Berlin while losing Mars, Spain and Port and all your home centres by '09. You were still attacking Norway and Den in '11.

If you mean even later on. Yes, I took Den and Kiel. I needed the builds to protect Sev and hopefully hang onto Rum. I was hoping you would support me into Edi so that I could use that as a build instead, especially considering you couldn't build at all. I also wanted to move my army into Burgundy eventually to hassle Italy, hoping it would tie up some units.

Anyway that was my thought process at the time. Maybe I misplayed it, I'm not sure. I'm curious to know what you think.
14 Jan 20 UTC Taking builds off me was a mistake, imo. But England's play was the worst. He pissed me about while I was trying to form a line with him. No need to take Edi. Should have built fleet Lvo, not army.
