GG all - sorry germany | |
No problem at all. If it's not an issue, I'd like to ask a couple things: - Russia, I didn't quite get your initial move (fall 1906) against me, as it left you quite open to Turkey. Was it intentional? I mean, not complaining about getting attacked, but you really opened some territories up. - Turkey, you were so close to soloing, why did you accept the draw? I see you had an unfavorable position in Italy, which would probably cost an SC or two, but I felt you still had some chance. Obviously not guaranteed, but you'd probably be able to accept a draw in a year or two if the solo was no longer seeming possible... |

Wondered about the draw too - lol | |
I was certain I'd lose Tunis and/or Rome before I could get Munich. If I'd had another army to hold Rome, I'd have kept playing, but with 5 units not even close to the front line, that was a tactical error I'll try to avoid in the future. After Munic, *maybe* I slip into Burgandy to grab a few SC from the back of France, but I thought it unlikely. I just had too many armies too far back from the front line to really feel like I had a chance to get to 18. Every turn delay is a stronger resistance along the stalemate line. Good game all. |

It would likely have been risky true Gg |

Thanks for explaining your reasoning. It makes sense... |
