28 Jan 20 UTC Quebec, you could have soloed this game, you should not be voting draw.

You have an army behind his lines and you can swarm the west coast with fleets, and Texas has shown himself to not understand stalemate lines, etc. especially with his latest moves and all game long in fact.
28 Jan 20 UTC His moves to west Caribbean and Straits of Florida literally hand you the solo win.
28 Jan 20 UTC I am.out of time. I have some.family obligations that require a lot of travel and out of internet time upcoming

I needed to wrap my games up
28 Jan 20 UTC And I was gonna land a 2nd army there if I had time. Baja was again gonna get convoyed down
28 Jan 20 UTC Texas here, can confirm. Had no idea what I was doing. Am very grateful to Quebec for his magnanimity
28 Jan 20 UTC Dont thank me thank real life obligations
28 Jan 20 UTC yeah, new Texas, you had to send ALL your fleets through the panama canal, not towards me, i already have a naval stalemate line, so I do not need more fleets. with this recent army build, I can totally hold my lines, you needed to send everything you had to try to fight the naval battle in the west. The move to Straits of Florida is especially troubling as it looks like it's only purpose is to attack me, which would certainly give him the solo.
28 Jan 20 UTC Leaving that 1 fleet alone there if I had tome.i would have punched thru towards peru probably as well as land a 2nd army in the south out of baja
28 Jan 20 UTC you could have guessed better and broken my lines, but one turn more, and my lines are rock solid. Oh well, too bad you didn't have time, this map is hard to solo on.

I guess I wont bother to talk about how bad some of the other nations played in the beginning, omg.
28 Jan 20 UTC I wasn't really focusing much on your side of the board, as it seemed any chances I had were in the west mostly I was attacking you simply to keep you from helping texas, which had I had a bit of time, I would have taken advantage of the fact he was going after you next….lol
28 Jan 20 UTC I was a bit shocked you attacked me initially though, and California I thought had better opportunities other than me I honestly sent the 2 fleets towards Alaska to bottle it up there, as he was disposing of BC rather early in the game, and I didn't need him coming up over the top

Peru played...terrible He is the innate advantage on this map of having only 1 possible enemy, as well as some nice expansion centers to capitalize on.

Heartland, I hate playing that one its a tough one to be sure You have to really be aggressive, but not too much He went hard on you (as did early texas) which sorta let me cement an early relationship with you, which since I didn't think a solo would ever be possible I was willing to let roll thru for the game, but you moved on me, which I was sorta watching your moves as Florida was dying, and was trying to shift some stuff around to stunt that
28 Jan 20 UTC I didn't want to attack you. I viewed the fall 2011 shift move to Nova Scotia as a hostile act, forced me to shift as well, which made you shift, and then I had to shift more. That section of play was very annoying, as I had not wanted war with you at all. But I also had to get started early to set up a defensive position that had any chance of surviving, what was obviously going to be a giant Quebecois powerhouse.

he heartland disbands were idiotic. Quebec stabbed her, I did not, and she makes wildly irrational disbands to favor Quebec?

And Peru did play terribly, as well as Florida, horribly. And most of the time, Texas as well.
28 Jan 20 UTC I only had 2 fleets there IRCc. I did stab heartland I sat and watched a few turns before deciding who was gonna get a love letter. Heartland was pressing on u and stretching his lines so he was easier
28 Jan 20 UTC I'm a super newbie, first time on this map, trying to learn some stuff and... failing
28 Jan 20 UTC Peru has a unique advantage on this map
28 Jan 20 UTC I got screwed by both Texas and Peru coming after me. Your fleets coming to Alaska forced me to play defensive on all fronts which is impossible to sustain. I dont know why Peru didn't pull back their fleets when at war with Texas. Screwed us both over.
28 Jan 20 UTC because Peru played like shit the entire game and blew both a superior starting position as well as failing to shut down Texas, I mean there is NO WAY Peru should have been beaten, he had armies in Texan home SC!
28 Jan 20 UTC go back and look at 2009 - 2011. Peru had a massive advantage on Texas, yet Peru insisted on attacking EVERYONE at once, both New York and California, when he could have just ignored New York and California and slaughter Texas, but he blew all three fronts.
28 Jan 20 UTC Lol. Did he attack cali a lot? I dont recall more than 1 or 2 pokes
28 Jan 20 UTC yes, he did, he had fleets swarming about California for a long time.
