26 Jan 20 UTC Alright, I was kidding ;-)

26 Jan 20 UTC Stressedlines, you are very hard to work with.. Even after I give you my centres you still amass on the border. I've never had such a difficult ally..
26 Jan 20 UTC But I didnt have anywhere else to

And honestly the only solo possibility was you so I just sorta stood around watching

Which centers did u give me? I thinknthe ones after you probably accidently took mine

Leta be truthful. Turkey and austrian alliances are not easy to start with. I honestly did almost nothing at all towards you. Just stares at the wall.watching paint dry
26 Jan 20 UTC I walked into Rum in 1910 as you didn't go to Ukr the turn before. It looked like you were setting up for a stab and this was my only possible defence. I then ceded Rum and Gre, but you still refused to move north.

Have another look at the game's turns, but now imagine you're Austria and I'm Turkey. Would you have dared to leave yourself open like I did?
26 Jan 20 UTC Again. It was a very unnatural alliance that somehow endured the game

I had no idea how to proceed with it as I was pretty much cut off from.anything else

I just want to.wrap these games.up.ans.move on
26 Jan 20 UTC @Germany: why oh why did you bounce me out of Sweden in 1901 when:
1. England didn't open anti-France
2. France opened strongly anti-German
3. I opened strongly pro-German

26 Jan 20 UTC Good game all. For what it's worth:

@Austria: You sure threw me for a loop by removing that draw vote at the end, haha. But I'm not sure what Turkey had to gain by making you less scared. Without a real path to a better result than the one that happened, I'm inclined to think there were no issues with that. Granted I was obviously rooting for some discord that I could exploit.

@Russia: My opening was not supposed to be anti-German at all. I haven't been active enough in the last six months to know if this is still the case, but there was a very strong E/G meta at one point, and I play this line defensively. Kind of an "beg for forgiveness rather than ask for permission" move, which plays better in gunboat. I was not surprised that Germany did not want you to establish solid control of Scandinavia with England likely out of position because of my Channel move.
27 Jan 20 UTC @france thank you I honestly didn't see how stab helped me even 1 bit Austria had the clearest path to a solo, and maybe the only 1 I was at best in a 3 way, and was simply just holding that position

when Austria got Sweden, Norway and stp, I got a little concerned, but I assumed I could take 1 from him and lose 2, and he would probably have lost Italy or a chunk of it in the process but again, I didn't think there was much risk of me attacking Austria in this type of game, where I assume most of us can 1) count to 18 and 2) know the lines

and tbh, its been a very long while I have seen an Austria/turkey get that far to the end...
27 Jan 20 UTC I never had a path to a solo. Just look at my current position. Still nowhere near.

Building up on my border had a significant risk. If I had done the same rather than allow this unequal situation, France would've been able to grab Tunis and move towards an almost inevitable solo.

I've brought many A/Ts to a positive end. It's all about good communication (yes, in Gunboat). Just look at my Turkey game in this series.
27 Jan 20 UTC I've not got the same history. But again. I just really sat there. I think 1 turn I didnt even support with my armies anywhere.

I just sorta was waiting for germany to die so i can get away from webdip for a bit
