17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: I don't think that it influenced the game too much; old germany did actually talk to old Italy, albeit not very much.
17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: So you think they were banned for separate incidents, not for in-game multi?
17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah, if new italy is ok with it im perfectly fine with releasing the old messages
17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: I am as well
17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Mon 12 PM Spring, 1901: Hi Italy.
As a neighbor and natural ally I certainly want a good relationship with you.
So can we demilitarize Tyr?
I also hope we can share useful information.
Maybe it's too early for that, but have you thought about possible direction of expansion - west or east?
Wed 12 AM I would move toward the east atm as a have a peace with France. If you mean working toward austria I am down
17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: The first part is old germany, followed by old italy. I don't think these messages really led to anything.
17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: If they were the same person then I don't think that he was very good either way.
17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: The cloudy part is that first season decisions were made because of folks who aren’t here.
17 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm with you there. And to be fair, neither Germany nor Italy lied to me, but then, I don't border both of them the way France and Austria do, so their decisions were probably influenced far more.
19 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: First public game went about as expected, not gonna lie.
19 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Austria is a tough draw. Condolences.
19 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: I prefer to think of it as I played the role as historically accurate as I could.
19 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah Austrian first turn diplomacy is by far the most important of any country.
19 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Doesn't help that I forgot to save the correct moves either. Anyone got any tips on Austria or Diplomacy in general that they care to share?
19 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Italy's words about Austria are absolutely correct.
20 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Austria has to find 1 good ally in the RIT grouping. Best to make sure your allies continue to profit, as if they don’t Austria is too exposed. So, be willing to sacrifice a little in first year gains to make sure that others are fighting.
20 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 1902: The good news for Austria is if you survive the first 2 or 3 years with some success, you can be a complete ass kicker.
21 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 1902: True.
22 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Austria can have tremendous upside, but you gotta recognize that at the start you don't have too much leverage.
22 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: The stats say Austria has the second-lowest win percentage, with Italy being lowest, but I'd rather be Italy than Austria any day. Italy may struggle to progress to endgame, but at least Italy's navy gives you options early. Austria's triangle of home centers gives you some decent defensive options, but there's hardly any place to expand.
22 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: It seems like Austria receives the 3 way partition frequently. It's impossible to defend against that.
22 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: If you have time.

22 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: It’s an article on the stats of Diplomacy. Can give ideas on what leads to a country’s success. Don’t use this as a users guide, as you have to play the people, but it does help inform decisions.
29 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: Hey everyone, it's a German Russian alliance, I'll stop fighting Turkey so we can work against Russia, it'd be wise if England and France could do the same.
29 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'll join you, talk to France.
29 Oct 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
12 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good game all.
12 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I think its a good time to draw. Let Italy live ;)
13 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Or we can eliminate you and still let Italy live
13 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: >:(
13 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I like this idea.
13 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I vote Turkey stays.
13 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: France you are a good man :)
13 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well, you can’t have Thanksgiving without Turkey.
16 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Apparently you can. Bye.
16 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Hmm? That’s exactly why I took over Turkey! I need me some thanksgiving.
20 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Can we please draw now?
20 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Its pretty even between France, Russia, and I.
20 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Fair enough
20 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: I was about to say Italy should be eliminated first but this is SoS
20 Nov 19 UTC France please vote draw.
20 Nov 19 UTC Please don't eliminate me Russia, I'm so close and I'm only taking one point of the pot.
20 Nov 19 UTC Lol that’s what I said
20 Nov 19 UTC <3 Thank you
22 Nov 19 UTC Dear France: I have chosen to input moves for the autumn phase that will give Russia Norway, Sweden, Vienna, and Budapest. This is because if someone must solo, I would rather it be a couragous enemy then a dishonest ally. Unless you vote draw before the phase progresses, I will do everything in my power to ensure Russia wins. I am encouraging Italy to adopt the same policy.
22 Nov 19 UTC Dude... you moved to Wales and threw me on mute. I didn’t touch you before that.
22 Nov 19 UTC Gg
23 Nov 19 UTC Well played all.
23 Nov 19 UTC gg everyone!
23 Nov 19 UTC GG! thanks everyone for keeping me alive.
