13 Sep 19 UTC Good game all. Doesn't look like Austria was interested in trying for the two way. I think it could have been arranged pretty safely, but we were at genuine risk of an Austrian solo if Italy decided to be really spiteful and tap Burgundy.
13 Sep 19 UTC Good game! 100% I would have let Austria solo (or tried to) if you kept advancing.
13 Sep 19 UTC Yeah, any good player would have. Which is why Austria shouldn't have threatened the stalemate line in the North. We could have easily and more or less safely divided you. I stood little chance of making it to Tunis and he stands little chance of taking Marseilles.

And the second either of us did stand a chance of that, we just start support holding you and you've successfully forced your way into the draw. But I feel like this was prematurely drawn.
13 Sep 19 UTC @England, was fun fighting you after your stab. I was really mad at you at the time, but in retrospect, war between us was probably inevitable. Glad I was able to get the upper hand, it was 50/50 there for a few seasons.

@Austria your move to Munich (the first time) didn't make much sense to me. What were you thinking? Trying to break the stalemate line?
14 Sep 19 UTC Germany. I found myself in terrible position. Too spread, too soon. Even though you built armies early, i knew what was coming. I really thought Austria would grown faster and you would have to address him and leave me be.
14 Sep 19 UTC Gg all.

May i ask, who was it that never readied up?
14 Sep 19 UTC Not my finest hour...
14 Sep 19 UTC GG you two.

@Micha: I absolutely loved they way you played, particularly the disbanding of your eastern fleet (even tough that hurt me quite a bit). So I wasn't interested in whittling down the draw at your cost (would have taken the solo of course!).

@☺: I needed to grab Munich for my 18 anyway, so I deemed it better to do while it's still empty/undefended. Besides, I wanted to give England a hand there - as that all but guarantees that I can keep Munich. Too bad he lost the conflict against you. Gosh, I was so annoyed that I didn't have the balls to go for Bur again in fall 09, that would have been great.

@ssorenn: I didn't ready up the first five days of this game as I was on holidays then - but afterwards, I always readied up.
14 Sep 19 UTC Also @ssorenn: Why did you tap Moscow in spring 1910 and then didn't repeat in fall? Didn't make much sense to me and hampered my plans. Should have just tapped it myself I guess.
14 Sep 19 UTC First i completely understand people using the whole turn...i was just wondering because, in 13 years, i think there were two phases that got readied before the the time ran. I found that odd.

@Maettu, i think it became frustration , and secondly, i thought you could do it yourself with Sevastopol.
14 Sep 19 UTC @Maettu Reason I didn't like the move to Munich (aside from personal bias, of course) was that it cemented an alliance between Italy and me to stop your solo. He and I were skirmishing in French lands, and as soon as you took Munich that stopped.

And Italy did play well... But I will whittle down a draw if possible just as quickly as I will go for a solo.

Re: Turn length, if the day timer was on a cycle I liked (ie the 24 hours started at work, I didn't ready up, because I realistically only check webdip once or twice a day in the evenings. My frustration was that it kept getting stuck at like 6 PM-7 PM my time, so if I checked it early, did something that night, then had to stay at work late the next day I would have missed a phase.
