24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Even so, I think I would've had a much better chance if I hadn't gone all-out on getting Tunis.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: My original strategy to England was to use Italy to buffer Turkey while we killed France and Russia. France said "hold my wine!"
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: holy shit that would be hilarious Germany xD
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ouch
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Those fleet builds were too good to pass up.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Plus, you broke our DMZ, and I never quite trusted you after that.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: They were, weren't they?
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Wait, seriously?
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: That's why you turned on me, I broke the Burgundy DMZ?
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: ***Buffer state problems***
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: If I was untrustworthy because of that, why wouldn't I have snatched up Munich?
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I thought you only did it because I was weak as water
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: There was no trust after that. Even though you didn't attack Munich, I figured you were either:
1. Untrustworthy
2. Unreliable

So...
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Not trust issues or whatever
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hm, okay.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: A little column A, a little column B. Lack of trust paired with a vulnerability.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Now that I'm dead, I can confirm that actually was a mistake
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I genuinely thought when you meant to bounce Bur
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I figured as much, but it still meant you were a bit unreliable.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: *thought you meant to
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Neither of us alone could have broken through so quickly. Germany was a good partner even with a bit of (justified) paranoia. I think it was the idea of an uncontested Turkey that solidified it for so long though.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Yeah, I suppose.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Yeah I kinda didn't like the attention lol. I wish we had an Austria from the start
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Goodbye, cruel world
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: :P
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Yeah, there's a lot of talk about one country NMR in '01 ruining the game. I think it vastly changes the game and the balance, but I don't think it totally ruins it.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Does it feel weird knowing when yo will die?
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I am a very paranoid player.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: @France... in the arms... of... anangel
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: An Austria at the start could have prevented the blitz on Russia.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Not as much as you'd think.
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Haha, the angel of death
24 Jul 19 UTC Yeah, still ended up normalish but it brings a lot of pressure for me to play quickly and aggressively
24 Jul 19 UTC I can feel his warm but chiseled forearms around me already
24 Jul 19 UTC You were very polite about it.
24 Jul 19 UTC Gentlemen, it has been a pleasure playing with you.
24 Jul 19 UTC Unless, of course, England tries to take this, and then I hail our new Turkish overlords.
24 Jul 19 UTC Past tense
24 Jul 19 UTC o7
24 Jul 19 UTC GG
24 Jul 19 UTC I never did get an opportunity to stab England for a solo. He did well to protect against me, as I would have in a heartbeat if I saw an opportunity that didn't result in a Turkish win.
24 Jul 19 UTC GG everyone, thanks for playing
24 Jul 19 UTC gg
24 Jul 19 UTC Such gentle, warm words for your dear ally
24 Jul 19 UTC It puts a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach
24 Jul 19 UTC Yeah, we did the dance pretty well and never opened up to each other. I did some thought experiments at the end, and if you didn't have the two builds I think I would have gone for it. Perhaps if I had taken Mar for myself I would be able to lock up down south. But I imagine you would have done all you can to let Turkey across the line.
24 Jul 19 UTC 'Tis Diplomacy.
24 Jul 19 UTC Yes, Turkey would have an easy solo if I had been determined enough.
24 Jul 19 UTC Considering I bet 0 points and ended with 12 I'll say I squeaked out the lead position at the end. It'll help me sleep at night.
-Stab you later
24 Jul 19 UTC Felt bad for Hachiman. He got caught in my crosshairs due to Austria.
