29 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 1903: I'll do that. The most likely cause is the fact that I was working with delays regarding a player who's currently being investigated that is/was a part of this game. Regardless, I'll look into it.
29 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.

01 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (jmo1121109): Hey everyone,

We've noticed that it looks like the 6 hour phases here are causing more then a couple people some problems keeping up. Is anyone extremely opposed to the phase length here being changed to 24 hours, and me excusing the various NMR's associated to everyone? We want the game to be fun for everyone and if you're all losing sleep over this, then it's not accomplishing that fun factor.

If you have concerns over this change please email webdipmod@gmail.com and let me know why.

I'll be back in 24 hours or so to make that call and in the meantime paused the game to give you all some respite.

Thanks,
WebDip Admin
01 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Thanks
01 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Somebody already changed the game's phase length back to 6 hours once, so they'll probably be asses and do do again.

I'm voting for changing it to 24 hour phases. Let's vote on the issue!
01 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (jmo1121109): Nobody's going to change anything I do here. What we work out as the best for everyone will be final. :)

No need to vote, I plan on changing it unless people offer me valid reasons not too in private and I'll work with anyone who does to find a solution that works for them.

We'll get this back up and running in a way that will make it less stressful for everyone involved.
01 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: I've been meddling too much in this game. That was something I shouldn't have done, and I apologize for doing that. Let's sort this out and put it to 24 hour phases.
01 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: All good, no worries
02 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (jmo1121109): Alright everyone, this game's phases are now 24 hours. Nobody will adjust this to anything shorter going forward. Please shoot any issues or concerns to webdipmod@gmail.com and remember in any future games we're around at that email with any concerns you have. Our goal is to make sure the games here are running smoothly for everyone.

Good luck to you all in the game!
03 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Fricken Russia just straight up kami-kazied me... Not cool. Find a replacement next time instead of tanking someone else's game as well.
03 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: There was a point, when I changed my mind, but then you started to importune me in private. Not cool. Find an other game next time, if you can't handle your emotions.
03 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: You told me you were trying to get eliminated quickly, I told you repeatedly that Turkey is a Mod, and getting a replacement would be as easy as shooting him a message!

Instead, somewhere in there, you decided "Oh, I actually want to play this game for real", and instead of pulling out and refocusing your aggression on somebody else, you continued your ill-conceived attack on me! You even went as far as to leave your ENTIRE Southern border basically unguarded. The only reason Turkey didn't stab you sooner was because he knew that you wouldn't be sending any units down there anytime soon.
04 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: When I decided, I moved to Bohemia and Prussia, against Austria, but you bounced me in Silezia. That would not be problem, but what you sent me in private took out the fuse.
04 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Hey anyone who’s not drawing right now. DRAW
04 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: It is not a draw situation i think. :)
04 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Russia, as Turkey will tell you - as he is also an experienced player - as Russia, if you're not looking for a war with Germany, you DON'T EVER move to Silesia or Prussia!

Did you really try saying those moves were *against Austria*? Christ, I'm not that stupid.
04 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: I think he left.
04 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: I'm still here, France.

I'd argue that Russia has two viable openings. The opening to Sil and War works, but in my experience in trying it (two games) you need to move GoB to Baltic, which I personally don't find to be worth it. Germany doesn't fall to only Russia. You need England or France, most likely both, to escalate the situation. Those two openings are the standard opening to Gal and Ukr and the Northern Opening to Stp rather than Ukr and Ukr rather than Gal. If you don't do either of those, assuming an AI, the Lepanto will *always* win.

Thankfully, we got lucky. The original Italian player is gone and didn't do a good job of things anyway.
04 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: I only understood half of that. I don't know all of this lingo yet.
08 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: France and England, I think we can talk in global about further logistics
08 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Sounds good. I can put my vote to draw in.
09 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Once you all move to where you want I will re-color north africa.
10 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1908: You can recolor as soon as you'd want to. Also, I'd like this game to be done faster, so I'm not going to spend as much time with moves at all... I think I can trust you guys, and I think you guys can trust me
10 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1908: Count will you be recoloring prussia?
10 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1908: And Count... you need to move Barents Sea to Norway ASAP
10 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1908: because I will be there soon
10 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1908: Yes and yes fellas
10 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1908: Just moving out into mid atlantic to reclaim north africa. Sorry to unready.
11 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1908: I've put in 5 moves... sign of good faith maybe? Sorry for not getting this done sooner... case in point maybe we can spend some time at some point readying all our moves as fast as possible
11 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: No probs France. Turkey, I'm guessing you'll move your fleet in the Ionian to Greece?
11 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: Im set
11 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: Sounds good! Seems good to me
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: Shoot... I'm testing some games and clicked on this one accidentally. Are you both cool if I click ready very soon to make up for my mistake? no need to needlessly reset the phase
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: I wondered what happened
12 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1909: Anyway... so I will take back Ionian Sea once you move to Aegean Sea, England. I would appreciate if we could keep TyrS as well as Tun DMZ, France, as obviously none of us are planning anything from what I can see.

And, of course, I apologized about it then and I'll do it again. Didn't mean to move to Stp, England. Totally my bad.
12 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1909: Should I take Stp this turn? Also... England, you're going to need to hold off on moving to Con until the spring of next year, as I don't want you taking it (not a part of the deal)
12 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1909: No worries about St.P Turkey, and I can wait til Spring for the Con move - no worries at all
13 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1909: Moderator: (Aurelin): Game paused until Monday by player request. Contact webdipmod@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns!
15 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1909: Moderator: (Aurelin): Unpaused. Ready up if you don't want to wait the whole phase. Have fun!
19 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1910: Postponing build
20 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1911: Moving to Sev now
22 Jul 19 UTC GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
22 Jul 19 UTC aw
23 Jul 19 UTC GG all! Thanks for indulging my fun fleet experiment :)
23 Jul 19 UTC Thanks! See you again simetime.
23 Jul 19 UTC All good, gg
23 Jul 19 UTC France and England - If possible, you should both look at the board again. Do you see how this could have gone differently?
23 Jul 19 UTC Are you saying you could have won? Im glad I took a draw then.
