1 excused missed turn
Game drawn
10 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
11 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Could people not miss their turns, or if you have a legitimate need for a pause, raise a pause request in global?
11 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Can I request a pause starting this Sunday until Friday? I'm on a camp so I won't really have a chance to play the game
11 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: works for me

just make sure we re-start after
11 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: And so falls the stalwart Austrian Commander.

He fought hard enough to see the Fall of Russia.
He fought hard enough to see the writing on the wall for Italy

He will be remembered.
By Russians,mostly. Bitter Russians.
11 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Not even them
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: In my defence, my defeat was pretty much an Italian thing, him and his bonkers kamikaze jumping of my west which meant I had to let Turkey waltz into the Balkans.
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I had been hoping he was going to try pincering Germany at Munich, but no, he had to do the dumb thing and take my SCs so Turkey had free reign on Russia.
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I just don't understand how people are that stupid with Italy, all you have to do is leave Austria alone, and go fight France in the western Med! Once the Balkans are stabilized / stalemated, then you go in and jump people from behind!
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Better yet, since you're not hostile to Turkey, you can pick a winner in that fight if Russia and Turkey aren't locked into a juggernaut, and if they are, you're in a good place to fight them.
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Funny coming from an Aus that grant Turkey Free reign themselves, despite Russia pointing out this very outcome.
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Funny Russia trying to teach Austria how to play, given that Russia died first.
12 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: After builds can everyone please vote to pause the game? I'm in Australia so I'll need the pause to start before the next move. I don't really have much time tomorrow (Saturday) to place a move since I haven't packed for camp and need to do quite a few things tomorrow

13 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Russia, if Italy hadn't said maybe ten words to me the entire game, and hadn't jumped me when that never ends well for Italy, either 1. Turkey and I would have split the map, or 2. I would have fought him once with us being on even footing.
13 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Turkey, you are still such a delight.

But I'm not sitting here trying to claim my diplomacy wasn't a complete failure.

I'm aware I managed to win myself no allies and as such perished
13 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1907: if we all vote unpause now, then when he gets back all that is needed is for him to cast his vote
13 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Sounds good turkey. I voted to unpause
22 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1907: Apologies about the delay unpausing. Got sick at camp so I've spent the last few days in bed and I haven't been thinking about the game.
22 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1907: I would have forgotten how this game went too given Italy throwing it to Turkey
24 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.

26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: This is honestly getting out of hand, we have lost 2 Italy's consecutively! I hope the next one doesn't leave immediately...
26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Or we just draw 3 ways once France is out.
26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: I put my draw vote up
26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Hello, I don’t plan on quitting but i can draw if you want.
26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Welcome to the game new new Italy!
26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: thanks I can play this out if you like. I assume england and germany vs ottomans to the death?
26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: I don't know about to the death, but certainly to the stalemate line lol
26 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: good luck!
28 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: I'm putting my draw vote in, we are in a stalemate and I'm happy to let Italy draw with us.
28 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: Turkey we have a stalemate line set up, you might as well vote for a draw.
28 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: my draw vote is up
30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1909: yep, just killing Italy, then 3 way draw
30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1909: Wait, couldn't Turkey force an army to Liv and flank into Pru if Germany / England miss on a hold?
30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1909: Even if Turkey is in Liv, they can put 3 on Prussia, which I can hold with Berlin and Baltic.
30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1909: google "stalemate lines"
theres a few good lessons in there
31 Jul 19 UTC GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
01 Aug 19 UTC Gg all
01 Aug 19 UTC thanks nice to watch
01 Aug 19 UTC Gg
01 Aug 19 UTC Italy - keep referring back to this game as an example of what Italy should NEVER do (don't EVER attack Austria as italy)

Russia - good learning game for you too, you suicided because you couldn't be open minded enough to change tactics partway through the game

E/G - well played
01 Aug 19 UTC Rule 1 for Italy... Help Austria! Don't take the easy center or two
01 Aug 19 UTC Well, you can attack Austria as Italy, just need to help them blunt Russia / Turkey first so you can knife Austria and not lose the strategic advantage against Turkey
01 Aug 19 UTC haha good advice, thanks
01 Aug 19 UTC Yes Aus, I meant don't attack Austria early in the game
01 Aug 19 UTC As an example, check out this Italy game of mine: http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=243844#gamePanel
