14 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 8: Carthage, when are you gonna turn on Rome?
14 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 8: Why would I want to do that? Both sides are evenly matched and this is making a very interesting game.
14 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 8: Surely you don't want to play 26 against 8 ? No skill in that and pretty boring.
I think everyone will agree this game is making us all think and the advantage is back and fore between sides.
19 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 9: Didn’t get a chance Rome attacked Carthage first just now
25 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 9: Moderator: (Aurelin): Paused until Monday. Email webdipmod@gmail.com to object.
25 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 9: Sorry guys, I am going camping until Monday and will have no internet connection... hope it's not a huge burden...
25 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 9: Have a good trip! :)
25 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 9: Indeed! As Rome said, have a good trip!
25 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 9: No problem ,enjoy.
30 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 9: Hi If Greece is back can we agree to unpause?
30 Jul 19 UTC Autumn, 9: Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm back!
04 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 10: Best of game to you all! Was fun!
04 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 10: Great having you in board play again soon.

26 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 12: Greetings. I'll try to get up to speed quickly.
28 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: I understand slow, and steady, but silent too? Even to the substitute?
28 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: I guess because it’s already all out war and it’s been a long game where many people have been replaced
28 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: Huzzah. I get a message. From the eliminated player.
28 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: I have replied to messages but not sure at which stage you took over, that is the problem with anonymous games doesn't flag up new players name.
30 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: I mean...it's almost like playing a gunboat game...
30 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: Feel free to chat away. As Egypt has pointed out we have been let down by drop outs. There are only two here from the start so not much to say in global front.
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: Ok. I can chat. But by the responses I get god might as well be gunboat.

If the game continues like this with me getting no responses, then Carthage wins.

So Carthage has no reason to chat. And every reason to publicly discourage everyone else from talking.

Can the rest of you please respond to my messages?
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: This game ,Greece aside as he has already joined you making you the same strength as me , can go one of two ways a two on to one scenario or a draw. Why would Rome and I stop cooperating to side with you against the other. Are you perhaps attempting to get Rome and I fighting whilst you go for the solo?
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: Greece?!

Greece?!

There’s NOTHING I can do this game but fight a losing retreat against you.

Just counting numbers is moronic unless you see 18. I have units behind my lines and my Egyptian centers will fall to Carthage shortly. Bringing him 2 centers from 18. And easy stabbing Rome to get those centers.
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: I understand the struggle but you seem to be getting rather frustrated over a situation that already existed before you joined the game. Rome and Carthage have been allied for most of the latter half of the game so when you joined you were already likely to be cut out of a 2 way draw.
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: That’s cool. I think Rome doesn’t realize:

1) there is no 2 way draw coming

2) he only has 1-2 more years to choose 3 way draw before he loses to a solo. Less if his units get out of position.

3) he could at least do me the courtesy of messaging me privately rather than making me try to get is attention in public chat where the future winner can hear all our plannings to stop the solo
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: Whose solo are you trying to stop?
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: Yours...
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: To do that you join Rome fighting me? Then you stab him to solo?
31 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 13: I cannot solo! You guys each control a stalemate line against that.

There’s only one player on the board who can and he’s trying to Kaiser Sose Rome into believing that Persia hasn’t been neutered.
02 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 13: I also cannot solo because I am voting draw.

This is to prevent a Carthage solo,
09 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 14: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
19 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 15: you do realize this is not a gunboat game?
19 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 15: are we still talking about how Rome and Carthage have no intention of talking to Persia?
19 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 15: Not just not dealing with me...they aren't talking period. I thought I was joining a press game, not gunboat.
05 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 17: Do you two think this is fun?
05 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 17: Not really two onto one is always a drag towards the end.
05 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 17: Can take the draw. It's SOS scoring, so not a big difference either way.
05 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 17: Also protects against either of you getting greedy and stabbing on the last turn
05 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 17: If you take Sidon as well that should help. It's not worth the points to stab and sometimes you just don't want to stab a good ally .
05 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 17: That makes sense, but it's worth a lot more to stab (in points) than it is to eliminate me.
05 Oct 19 UTC Spring, 17: No intention of stabbing Rome or yourself.
10 Oct 19 UTC Shall we draw now?
12 Oct 19 UTC Or now?
13 Oct 19 UTC Or even now .
