12 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [China]:Good luck everyone! May the best country dominate the world.
12 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Brazil] what does Meta gaming mean?
12 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Europe]:Good luck all.

Brazil, meta gaming means either the same player having multiple accounts and playing in the same game using all of them.. Or playing the with people they know outside the game (friends, family etc) in a public game. Both of these are against the rules of web diplomacy.
12 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Oz]:hi all!
good luck and have fun! =)
12 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
12 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Libya]:First turn. Awesome.
12 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Kenya]:"Metagaming" can also mean playing as though you were playing not in single games, but in a pattern of games. This is typically done to build a reputation, as for honesty. A Meta player will be prepared to sacrifice a position or build in one game, because he believes that this will benefit him in many future games. This is perfectly legal. I had to have it explained to me because people were accusing me of Metagaming, in this context; which is true.
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Europe]:This interests me.. Can you explain it a little more? Like how does sacrificing a position in one game benefit in future games??
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Kenya]:If you demonstrate a willingness to take a loss to help an ally, or to do so to keep your word; these enhance your reputation; and others, learning of this, will be more likely to ally with you, or simply to make treaties with you. I have been very successful pursuing this approach. In this way, I never play a single game; instead, I play all future games at the same time.
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [India]:... says Kenya in an anonymous game while preparing to backstab the "alliance" he just formed :)
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Kenya]:What? Do you imagine that you can read my mind? What do you base this on? What alliance(s) do you imagine that I have? Or are you just stirring the pot while knowing nothing?
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [China]:I'm all for stirring the pot! Kenya is planning on killing everyone. Let's stop them before they can even begin plotting such a thing!
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Brazil]:Doesn’t Kenya always get stopped before they can plot anything?
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Brazil]:Lol, mean libya
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Europe]:Hahaha.. Thanks for the explanation Kenya. That helps. Of course that's irrelevant to this game considering that it's an anonymous one.

But India and China seem to not really like the idea of allying with Kenya ehh? Political issues in the northwest Indian Ocean?? :P
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [India]:Sadly, diplomatic attempts at reaching a peaceful resolution regarding the Northwest Indian were failing in spectacular fashion. It looked hopeless. Luckily, Argentina shipped over some fine Chilean wine and both sides got so plastered that they forgot what they were fighting about. We woke up from our drunken stupors to find a signed treaty stating that neither of us deserves this sea zone and it instead has been earmarked as Argentinian territory.
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Europe]:Interesting.. Australia didn't play a part or did it?
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Oz]:no one care about us! TT_TT
they all think we can't do anything with our Kangaroos, but they'll see, we'll fly across the world with our Kangaroos mounted in our Kiwis, and when you see that image, you'll know the end has come to your doors! >=D
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Europe]:Interesting philosophy there! Taking on Antarctica in the south, Indian and Chinese powers in the north and the combined south American might on your east? I'd love to see that image X-D
13 May 19 UTC Spring, 2000: [Oz]:everyone loves kangaroos and kiwis, until they start pooping on their roofs and submit all population into chaos!

MUAJAJAJAJA >=D
