04 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi, DMZ in the English Channel? I've played as both France and England and I've found if one nation moves their it just means both England and France miss out on a possible build.
04 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: I demand that if there is a DMZ in the Channel that there also be in in Galacia
04 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Oops, it's late!
09 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: What chaos!
09 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: He’s probably looking pretty or leave from the French and German perspective
16 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hello guys
16 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Guess I am Italy then
16 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Good choice to join
16 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: lol welcome aboard
17 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Thanks!
17 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Congratz on the win Germany. You guys gave him too much rope last year
17 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Turkey takes Serbia, I take Trieste, and Germany takes Budapest and London, and then we call it a draw?
17 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Obviously that’s fine with me I think we’re dependent on the relationship between you and Germany.
17 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1906: I’ve been a good ally all along the way and you two have been cooperating
17 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Its like France does not understand the game we are playing.
17 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1906: For my part, I am not opposing him until folks get a clue
18 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Wow. Did Germany just throw away the win?
18 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: We will wait to see but it is not unusual in my experience for people to cooperate throughout the game and even though a single player could fight for solo they honor their alliances. I rarely depend on people's goodwill but ensure this end happens through mutual garrisons, good communication and balanced growth.

It makes sense this would surprise you because you don't cooperate with anyone ever. But my experience is that the ability to cooperate is the winning strategy in this game.
18 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: A Draw is not the same as winning. It is simply not losing.
18 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: I grew to 17 centers in 6 years for a couple of reasons. France trusted a crazy plan of mine in 1902, Italy was functionally inactive for several years (which means France never had to turn towards me), and Turkey let me walk into their centers on the condition that Austria be eliminated first before I made plays for a win. There's no pride to be had in striking for the solo victory in a game where the path to 18 was cleared for me from 1903 onward as a result of game conditions that I had little influence in creating.
