08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: So, we are in a stalemate position, shouldn't we draw now?
08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: My draw vote has been in for years now. 54.3 is a perfectly acceptable outcome from my perspective. Don't know whether that also applies to the division of the northern/western centers : 19.2 for Germany, 14.7 for England and 7.4 for Italy ?
08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: My draw vote has been in for ages.
08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: My draw vote is in.
08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: Someone is lying or hit the wrong button as my draw vote have been in since Austria stabbed me..
08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: And I have no chance of qualifying at this point so any point division is acceptable to me.
08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: I have to say you are the only one I believe Germany.
08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: I can see reasons for all other players to continue, but not that much for you.
08 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: Why would I not accept a draw now Austria? All three countries have shown they would be happy to eliminate me if this continues. :P
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: It looks like Italy will be giving Austria the solo
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: Maybe England and Germany should stop stabbing me in the back.
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: Sucks to suck Italy
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: ???
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: I have no idea wtf is going on here hahaha
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: England got greedy and tried to steal all of my centres after Germany, England and I agreed that Austria was a threat we needed to work together against. Even after we made a deal and I voluntarily gave them Liverpool. Germany went along with England in attacking me.

As a result I decided to fight back, and Austria has helped me and held off on conquering Italy because they want to get over the stalemate line and solo and I am willing to risk an Austrian solo instead of getting eliminated.
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: (*in this case 'all' means Iberia, Marseilles, and maybe Tunis). But that's all I have!
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: The move that just happened in combination with the moves the two turns before, are imo of the best moves of this game. I don't say this to pat Italy's back, but, I think this game could have been stalemated if Italy had not outguessed Germany and England three turns in a row now.

I do think this will end in a draw, not in solo. No way I will ever get foot in Mar, unfortunately so.
09 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: Also not wanting to pat Italy's back (I think his play has really been lacking strategy) I don't at all understand what Germany and England have been doing all game. You guys do realise that due to the Sum-of-Squares Scoring mode even if Austria ends with 17 centres you will literally gain peanuts, maybe even lose from your original point?
10 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: I am trying to draw this game since I don't know when. I have nothing to do at this point, I have zero chance to get to next round so I don't really care about points.
I have some chances to get a better result, the early CPA worked pretty well, but England defended well (and I did some basic mistakes) and Austria ended with the upper hand. Since this point I am just tryng to draw this game.
10 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: Italy is soon to be eliminated. Why would Austria draw now
10 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: Well, Italy can't be eliminated without throwing the game to Austria, this is the point.
10 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: Unfortunately Germany is being held hostage here by an aggressive English foreign policy.
10 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: But I still hope we all can put our differences aside in behalf of a greater good (not losing).
10 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: Austria will take all Italian home centers no matter what you do. That’ll give him 17 centers. It makes no difference if he solos or draws really
10 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: There is a big difference between a solo or a draw, even if this stupid scoring system didn't acknowledge it.
10 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: I agree with Germany. The principle of it matters to me, anyway.
11 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: This is the third wait for orders in the last five turns. It is really not ok that someone would consider to complete the moves whenever they feel to. I don’t want to get anybody replaced here either, but I will inform the TD of this hoping that we can stop this from continuing.
11 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: Apologies; this particular one was my bad.
11 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1913: No worries I like the move Tus-Cly in particular:-)
11 May 19 UTC Spring, 1914: RIP Tuscany
15 May 19 UTC Spring, 1915: So, Austria, if you are not taking Italy's centers would you mind hitting draw?
15 May 19 UTC Spring, 1915: Maybe Austria wants England to return Portugal that was so unjustly stolen back to me. ;)

Then Austria will give me back Venice and we can all live happily ever after. ;)
15 May 19 UTC Spring, 1915: Or Portugal can be replaced with Par I guess. That brings Germany and England at 7, and Italy at 6. Seems like a fair split?
15 May 19 UTC Spring, 1915: As if you were worried with anyone's splits but yours.....
15 May 19 UTC Spring, 1915: Italy had always been the first one on my mind.
15 May 19 UTC Spring, 1915: And apart from that, it is SoS, so even from a self centered perspective (which was obviously not the main driver), it is still the best option.
16 May 19 UTC Spring, 1915: Well, if you have Italy first on your mind maybe you don't mind giving him Ven back?

[it's a GIF, not a virus, worry not]
16 May 19 UTC I am finalizing this one. We all should, try to get the phase to roll through more quickly!
16 May 19 UTC Maybe if Austria vote draw it will end a lot faster....
18 May 19 UTC Sad :(
18 May 19 UTC Sad :(
18 May 19 UTC He is worried with your well being, doesn't want you too stressed entering orders for many units.
18 May 19 UTC Thanks for playing all!

Especially Italy for the great start and endgame. You are each time a jou to play with.

However, I couldn’t let this end without taking the last three available centers. It is SoS and still a tournament.

Congratulations also to G/E/I for putting your differences aside in stopping the solo.
18 May 19 UTC *joy
18 May 19 UTC Well played Austria, you really controlled the Board. And good luck in the next phase.
20 May 19 UTC Thank you Germany : it was a joy playing along your side when we still did :-) Hope we can do this over again sometime!
22 May 19 UTC Hello everyone!

Great game Austria! I was right to be suspicious but I also didn't want to make the first move for fear that Germany would side with you, not me. Sadly at the point you stabbed me and England / Germany weren't immediately committed I knew that I was likely doomed.

Thanks for facilitating my doomed solo facilitation and making an attempt I think we both knew was probably doomed. :)

I am reasonably happy with how the game ended, despite how I did very disastrously from a SoS perspective.

Germany, England, well played as well! Too bad we didn't get the IGA outcome you and I hoped for Germany. :'l
22 May 19 UTC Since the first years I knew I need a result more or less like Austria got to have a shot on qualifying. It was going well until England put a really great defense and I made some bad choices.
I should have sided with Italy to attack Austria first, while Russia was still alive, but I was too worried that Italy won't commit to that and missed the chance.
Anyway, it was a good game and I hope to play with you again.
22 May 19 UTC Yeah amusingly I was worried *you* weren't going to commit if I attacked Austria so I didn't push you too hard.

Guess we were both mistaken. :)
