24 Feb 19 UTC good game.....i couldnt have passed the lines that were held.....i made one wrong move to spain north coast early in the game that cost me dearly
24 Feb 19 UTC Thank God I got one point back
24 Feb 19 UTC Great game everybody!

I went through many mood swings in this game, from telling myself the game was over in 1905, to realizing we might stop England in 1907, to hating Turkey for a second and then realizing he had saved the day in 1909.

Nice solo try England, there were other mistakes along the way the contributed I believe.
24 Feb 19 UTC I was so looking forward to working with the UK early on but the Goddamn Italians had other ideas
24 Feb 19 UTC Sorry, Lambda, the first half of my game was appalling. Glad to make up for it a little bit in the second half.
24 Feb 19 UTC when germany left kiel open, i had to move on you france......i would have liked to play that alliance
24 Feb 19 UTC i never should have taken the fleet out of the baltic
24 Feb 19 UTC Yeah, that was one I had in mind. I was shocked, more like overjoyed, when you moved out of the Baltic.
24 Feb 19 UTC The fucking Italians though, good thing Austria didn't attack them sooner
24 Feb 19 UTC i thought i was going to need the fleet in the atlantic against the pesky italians.......dang, that was hard fought
24 Feb 19 UTC france, you played a very good game to overcome the early stab from me
24 Feb 19 UTC wow, tell me how you really feel, Lambda
24 Feb 19 UTC i thought the turks were out of it really early.....but austria left himself exposed
24 Feb 19 UTC Yeah I've just gotten back on to the site after awhile and its been rough getting into the swing of live games and the mechanics again.

I was much more upset with the Italian move westward early on, because that set the UK up for what should've been a win
24 Feb 19 UTC yeah, but i made some mental mistakes.....not making excuses, but i dont get a chance to play many live games
24 Feb 19 UTC Well, I needed to focus on stopping you gordon, couldn't really fight a 4 center power and a 15 center power at the same time.
24 Feb 19 UTC Oh Yeah, I really feel that the Italians (dipperjay) were idiots, Austria was open, and Germany was scantly present, why attack France?
24 Feb 19 UTC yeah, i agree with you there lambda....
24 Feb 19 UTC Looking back at the moves I see what you mean lambda.
24 Feb 19 UTC I'm simply not going to respond to someone who calls me an idiot
24 Feb 19 UTC Although I was very thankful for dipperjay's peaceful border toward me.
24 Feb 19 UTC @dipperjay, would you mind explaining your actions?
24 Feb 19 UTC maybe that would help?
24 Feb 19 UTC it was a very entertaining game......i have played diplomacy since the mid 1970's, mostly face to face til i found this site
24 Feb 19 UTC my opening was terrible, because I was reading to my kids and didn't have the time to look closely at the moves. That's why I was stuck going west in 1902-03, probably 04. Only then I started paying attention and realized the mess I had made. I fully expected to die and deservedly so, until I saw a break around Spain to stop England.
24 Feb 19 UTC In Dipperjays defense he did fight back against the main aggressor, Eng (grodon) which was a very welcome change of events. But I am upset because he continued to attack me when Austria was becoming strong and then when turkey left him an opening and when England was clearly superior with an absent germnay and crippled russia
24 Feb 19 UTC I misread the game starting time, until I realized too late and couldn't pull out anymore. But hey, it's only a game and I don't appreciate being called an idiot by anyone. Thank you, ubercacher, I appreciate your outreach.
24 Feb 19 UTC At least we agree on the fact that it was a mess
24 Feb 19 UTC i play these games for fun and i hope to see some of you in other games....good luck
24 Feb 19 UTC I screwed up with a NMR early. This is my first live game in 5 years.

I feel fortunate to have done as well as I did.

I initially wanted an R-T, but R had a hard time and stabbed me to hang on.

I am glad Austria recognized the rise of England. My moves after that were to eliminate a rogue Russia. My captures of Rum & Tunis were unintentional (finish off Russia & keep England out, respectively). Fortunately there were good players on the front to hold the line.
24 Feb 19 UTC As far as the 'idiot' claim is concerned - I really didn't expect an Italian offense against me, especially with an Austria doing so well. then UK became dominant and I was hoping to push back but kept needing to fight against Italy. But I do apologize, Once you've committed there isn't much you can do to retreat and if you were occupied with children that's okay
24 Feb 19 UTC hope to see you all again on here soon to get back into the game, especially you turkey!
24 Feb 19 UTC Thank you, Lambda, I appreciate that.
24 Feb 19 UTC lets do a non anonymous rematch?
24 Feb 19 UTC why not?
24 Feb 19 UTC start a game, post it in here and join.....

24 Feb 19 UTC I didn't password protect it because some players probably left already
24 Feb 19 UTC true....i joined
