I could have taken Paris last turn, my first and last mistake, no way through now, oh well, had I guessed the other way last turn, Paris would be Germany and France would have had a disband and I could have punched even further through. Not anymore though, now that Spain has shifted.

sure was fun pushing turkey back 6 SC in Russia though, I'm sure that when he reached the coast he thought it was over.

I'm glad this game is over! You have to respect Germany's tenacity. When I reached the coast, that was about the time German fleets arrived, so it still looked bleak. I set draw around then. I was hoping to build a fleet but could never uncover St Pete. I discovered that line can't be held from the south!
Good game everyone. That was my first modern variant and included some very good players, so glad I made it to the end. Thanks all!
