Spring, 1901: Hello and good luck to you too!
Spring, 1901: Ciao everyone The Generalisimo |
|
Autumn, 1902: Who’s down for stopping a juggernaut?
Autumn, 1902: Oh you finally realized? Perhaps if you would step out of my backgarden and stop attacking my centers, I could try that. Until then I can only focus on staying alive against your English attack.
Autumn, 1902: My boi. You’re currently sitting next to one of my home centers as well. Stop being salty and work with me here. The absence of movement to the Black Sea was fishy but the actual support proves it, and France not being able to directly attack either jug power I felt that I wouldn’t seem genuine. Seeing as that’s true through, I can fight off England if they continue to be angry rather than smart while the rest of you stop or attempt to stop the jug. I can offer some Med support. |

Autumn, 1902: >France enters the Channel and attempts to take London >England retakes Channel as France goes around the back via Irish Sea France: "Lol England what are you doing, why you going after me when there's a bigger threat?" Are you serious hahaha |
|
Autumn, 1902: I mean yeah. There are three other countries that are not England that can work against you as well that I want to get ahold of. I’ve got no expectations for England but we’ll see. I’d be remiss if I didn’t try.
Autumn, 1902: Thank you, Russia, for taking up my role and giving the answers I would give and any normal player would give. Thus far, it has been hard making France realize that.
Autumn, 1902: Yeah I've been trying to tell Italy this since the start of the game, but the Generalisimo who still hasn't taken Tunis evidently thought it wasn't a good idea to stop the might of the east
Autumn, 1902: 5h left : don't forget to enter orders whoever it is.
Autumn, 1902: Me sorry. Real world stuff
Autumn, 1902: Intriguing network of support holds in Austria there...
Autumn, 1902: Yes indeed
Autumn, 1904: Sorry for the NMR peeps, real world stuff. Back now
Autumn, 1907: Gents, we are nearing a draw. Couple more left to go
Autumn, 1907: Most of my moves will be hold until we decide to draw, so I will be readying up faster
Autumn, 1907: aight, lets ready up so we can get this done with
Autumn, 1907: Can we start readying up faster? This is almost over and dragging it out isn’t gonna do much.
Autumn, 1907: It's not me
Spring, 1908: Last turn it was me, but hadn't been online much. I always ready up when I can.
Spring, 1908: hit that ready up
Spring, 1908: Not me | |
Spring, 1909: Damn you italy!! Lol
Spring, 1909: Supporting your move into Rome from Tuscany, Germany.
Autumn, 1909: Don't get any bad ideas france
Autumn, 1909: This triple alliance has been great btw. Finally a triple alliance that works!
Autumn, 1909: I ain’t, no way I’m making up 7 centers. Just wanted the map painted pretty and to be able to convoy out of clyde if I wanted to.
Autumn, 1909: I like the idea of a three navy convoy just for kicks
Autumn, 1909: Yes, well played all. Enjoyed that. Cheers The Generalisimo |
|
Draw is up! | |

Or if we want to be a little crazy for the end of the game, we can try to convoy a german unit from st petes to syria, or a turkish unit from syria to st petes lol
Frustrating game I’d say. But I always like the moment when everyone comes back from being anonymous. History of games help the game explain.
It was a good one england. Just didn't work out in your favor this time. France's 1904 builds and threats stopped me from shooting for the solo
I’d disagree but it’s fine.
Trust me brother I was looking for the opportunity, but it wasn't there.
I am not talking about your solo...:-)
? | |
Germany could have gone for the solo in the final 3 turns if he wanted to. My whole frontier was unguarded at that point.
That’s what I was expecting, I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t.
He told me time after time it was impossible (up to now). But it was France's stab in S05 that I consider as the most unpleasant experience I have ever been through in diplomacy. Particularly after 5y of bickering, and finally burying the hatchet.
And in that respect it is nice to see who is who and to look at some history of games. That helps to explain.
Yea turkey I looked at the board, had 10 units at the time and could have probably gotten-3 that turn. But if I did that you and France both would have attacked me and I was weak in the north. This would have giving the remaining surviving players a chance to stay alive by offering their services to help you guys. Best cas scenario I think I could have gotten maybe 16 total centers. Worst case scenario we draw with more than 3
That's indeed how the game and going for a solo works I'd say.
Like you say : it was your choice and an understandable one. |
