03 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Moderator: (ghug): Congratulations on making it to the 2018 Gunboat Tournament Finals!

Finalists, you've been placed into five games. If you're not in five games, you haven't received each power exactly once, or you feel you've been put in the tournament in error, please contact me as soon as possible. There are three additional games in this round being played by non-finalists. These games are there to preserve anonymity as the tournament winds down, and their scores will not be included in tournament standings.

Games have been paused to ensure that nobody misses a phase due to the abnormal nature of the game starts. If you have not voted unpause by Wednesday, December 2nd, I will contact you and begin docking from your seven days of allocated pause time in one day increments. If you need a pause, please let me know. Since the finals have a smaller pool of players, any pause in this round will pause all games to preserve anonymity. Since the holidays are coming up, any pause time needed by multiple players in December will not be counted against your seven days.

Please contact me with any questions.

Good luck!

Too bad I didn't guess correctly the couple of times I could have won. At least I did guess correctly on who was who :)

BTW, I voted draw before the pause so there was someone else holding back at that point, what was that about?
01 May 19 UTC Gotta say, the unbreakable GR at the beginning of the game was kinda annoying to deal with. Wasn't really understanding why neither of you wanted an English ally.
01 May 19 UTC But good game all. Had some high class opponents here!
01 May 19 UTC Good game. Real shame for the NMR. All together, a game worthy to be the last one in the tournament. I withdrew the draw vote for a couple of days. :)
01 May 19 UTC Well played, xorxes and Nikola Maric Eto.
Sorry for attacking you in Autumn, 1923, Nikola Maric Eto. Great that we achieved the draw finally. (I voted draw many years ago.)
Good game.
01 May 19 UTC All good, Javatiger.
01 May 19 UTC Good game everyone, I got tired of counting the moves that I messed up in this one. I've gotta say that was fun watching NME defend Turkey and prevent the solo at the end, that was some high end play. Congrats xorxes on the tourney win -- I was hoping you might have been Austria in this one; alas, no such luck for me...
