Game drawn
06 Oct 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Anyone supportive of this?
06 Oct 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Nope. I think it is safer to blow up the spiders from the safety of a large boat with lots of cannons
06 Oct 18 UTC Spring, 1999: So all boats? That would really be interesting for heartland, but actually feasible because they could move through the lakes
06 Oct 18 UTC Spring, 1999: As far as I know, spiders prefer lakes to oceans. Heartland going all boats may be our only hope.
06 Oct 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Control of the lakes is control of the board!
19 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: good game
28 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: The thanks I get for bailing BC out of cali’s attack is a stab...rofl I love people
01 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Fleets can move between NYC and NYS??
01 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: ye
01 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: RIP did not notice that, wish I had
01 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2007: So are we going to bicker over a few centers or can we call this game?
05 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2008: Much stab
05 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2008: who stab?
05 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2008: You, Quebec, and BC lol
06 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2008: Not sure if I'd consider me a stab, was more of a non aggression pact at best between us
06 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2008: Alright then boss.

Not sure why the need to attack me
07 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 2008: Alright. I’m fine with a draw.
09 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2009: Just waiting on BC to hit draw
10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2009: nobody has yet talked to me about a Draw. All I've seen are your Draw votes.
Guys we have Texas at his knees.
Let's eliminate him and then Draw.
10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2009: Says the stabber who accuses me of stabbing him
10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2009: please get over it and ready up. It's just a game, you don't have to be so bitter.
10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2009: As you would say (in reference to you not calling draw):

“~Thu 05 AM Autumn, 2008: British-Columbia: this is against the spirit of fair play”
10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2009: Eliminate him
10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2009: although he makes me regret my decision to an extent, I have no intentions of attacking Texas further
10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2009: correct. the fact that Texas is purposefully delaying the game is indeed against the spirit of fair play. I have no idea why Texas thinks me making that statement would be damning XD
10 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 2009: Oh I was referring to you making statements and then being hypocritical. You’re the one who’s being against the spirit of fair play when you refused to draw when all three other players have hit the button

You’re the one who signed up for one day/phase, and now you’re just being petty.

Sure, You three could eliminate me, and I’ll force most of the centers to Peru and Quebec. Because it’s sum of squares scoring, you’d be losing points

FYI watch those moves to Ontario, mid Pacific Ocean, and southwest Pacific Ocean
10 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 2009: Im not starting anything. Just acting defensively.
11 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 2009: My bad. I’m still here
12 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 2009: Sometimes I wish targeting was allowed...
13 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2010: Public announcement #247: I will be walking out of Tampa, Louisiana, and Yucatán this turn in order to honor my second to last public announcement
13 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2010: Im still still here. Just on vacation
14 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 2010: Public announcement #248: Quebec, you can have Houston this turn

Rack up that sum of squaresss
15 Nov 18 UTC Sooo BC you gonna draw?
15 Nov 18 UTC Nah, he just wants to lose more points from sum of squares
15 Nov 18 UTC wow, texas salty AF and BC being an ass for no reason
15 Nov 18 UTC Is it too late for me to change to team texas?
15 Nov 18 UTC I just don't see this game as completed just yet.
15 Nov 18 UTC Texas purposefully sabotaging the game because of spite
15 Nov 18 UTC No. He is tactfully using sum of squares scoring to his advantage. If you understood the consequences, you should have drawn by now.
15 Nov 18 UTC Yeah, I'm actually very impressed by the strategy. Don't look at it as spite. Maybe it is in part due to spite, but it's still a very good diplomatic strategy.
15 Nov 18 UTC Texas knows that without help, it will die by you. However, the largest power in the game has agreed to draw, as has everyone else except for you. Texas is the most vulnerable state and should now have the goal to survive at all costs. Therefore if Texas wants to make it out of this game alive, they must force a draw.
15 Nov 18 UTC A very clever way of doing such a thing is to give up supply centers to increase the centers of the largest power. Since the scoring is sum of squares, everyone else loses points. If you don't draw now, you will lose points until Quebec gains enough power to go for the solo.
15 Nov 18 UTC Unless of course, you launch a sneak attack on Quebec. But as of now, Quebec has a single front in Texas and will continue slicing through Texan like butter
15 Nov 18 UTC I'd see a sneak attack coming from a mile away too...
15 Nov 18 UTC Touche!
I did not fully understand how Sum-of-Squares worked. Thank you for the lesson.
And thank you everybody for the game! Well played.
15 Nov 18 UTC Good game!
15 Nov 18 UTC Agreed. Good on Texas for the strategy.
Of course I considered what a solo attempt would look like but not worth it in the end.
GG
15 Nov 18 UTC -.- maybe could’ve drawn earlier if you understood how the game you were playing worked

“We can kill texas so let’s do it”
15 Nov 18 UTC Stop...stop that. You got your draw. Don’t keep being so shitty
16 Nov 18 UTC Like I care. I still lost a point
