24 Jul 18 UTC Oooooooof that's a tough loss for the defending team.

Look carefully at the map in Spring 1915 Paul. You had set up the stalemate line - you had actually done it.

In order to control Moscow from the North in a stalemate line, the line has to incorporate Prussia. All you needed to do Paul was hold with Prussia and Germany support-holds Prussia with Baltic Sea. With those two moves, Prussia cannot be captured by Silesia and Warsaw (2 v 2). Italy could not possibly have taken Berlin, as Silesia could be blocked by Kiel (1 v 1). Munich could not be taken, as that could be held by Burgundy Ruhr and Munich vs. Tyrolia, Bohemia and Silesia (3v3).
And you can see that obviously Spain and Moscow were defended, if that line were held.

I thought for SURE the game was about to end in a 5-way draw, but then Paul you ordered Prussia to move to Berlin for some reason and lost the game. That's a real shame, and I'm really surprised that you did that. You knew you needed to convoy that army from Sweden into Prussia, and so did Germany, so somehow you and Kevin coordinated that move just because you both KNEW that the army had to be there are the game was lost (right?? like how did you know to move your army to Prussia with a Germany convoy?) so I thought that meant you knew which positions needed to be held in order to form a stalemate line that incorporates Moscow (to offset the loss of Marsielles)

SweetwaterSam, somehow I got Austria and you had France and I still manage to zoom over and attack the hell out of you, unbelievable.

Great game as Italy DJ. You were very wise to be persistent and keep attacking so that if the defending players made even 1 mistake, you would get the solo win. That's how I've gotten most of my solo wins in this league, so let that be a lesson to everyone else on the importance of trying as hard as possible for the solo win and FORCING the defenders to make the perfect stalemate line, because they'll be punished if they don't do it right.
24 Jul 18 UTC Also FYI DJ is taking a break from the league for a little while, so congratulations to him for going out on a solo win at the end, what a way to play before peacing out.
24 Jul 18 UTC Here is a link to a new game, anybody is invited. Please tell me if you join so I don't have to message you later about joining:

24 Jul 18 UTC Joined. Missplayed against Russia early and got bottled up as Turkey (first game as turkey), never really managed to recover, still a fun game though.
24 Jul 18 UTC Joined but go easy on me this game please!
25 Jul 18 UTC Yeah I don't know why I did that. For some reason I thought I had to move to Berlin to bounce Italy's move but that was obviously wrong. My bad gg though
