07 May 18 UTC Spring, 1994: No Britain? :(
07 May 18 UTC Spring, 1994: #prayforbritain
07 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1994: Why is it so hard to play a game where people don't NMR? It imbalances everything :(
07 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1994: We should be able to get someone to replace Britain when he CDs this year, right? Maybe whoever created the game could advertise it on the forums to get a new Britain in. I usually vote to cancel if someone NMRs first phase on the classic map.
08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1994: 9 out of 10 ain’t so bad
08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1994: Hi new BRIT here. Looking for good and strong alliances!
08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1994: Sorry Turkey
10 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2002: Very sorry for missing the turn everyone
12 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2002: Does me -- well played folks.
18 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2003: FUCK.

Sorry Ukraine I was convinced that was going to bounce.

Withdrawing next phase
20 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2004: Please could we do a pause from Friday to Sunday this weekend?
20 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2004: Yeah man. My votes in
21 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2004: Thanks guys.
22 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2004: Lol at England's response to me asking for a pause:

03:15 AM Spring, 2004: Could you put up a pause vote please?
~01:48 PM NOPE

Grow up you petulant child. Being a dick and refusing to pause won't prevent me killing you anyway.
22 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2004: :( England i thought you were a good guy
22 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2004: Germany - bit OTT on the public call out but I appreciate it's frustrating. I can guarantee I won't make moves against you while you're away
23 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2004: I don't think there's anything wrong with calling out unsporting behaviour publicly. It's crap like this that put me off playing this game. I've already been called stupid by him previously, it's pathetic really. I don't think anyone wants to play with people who insult someone just because of their moves on a board game which is supposed to be fun. People wouldn't dare to behave like that in public unless they really are a petulant child.
24 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2004: Agreed
25 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2005: No longer any need for a pause. Thanks to those who actually put their pause vote up!
26 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2005: I call solo bid!
26 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2005: You're going for a solo, eh?
26 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2005: I'm not surprised, given your complete lack of help with killing off England, with no units sent and not supporting me into the Channel because you conveniently "haven't been properly concentrating".

And then having no interest in disbanding Italy's armies in spring, presumably hoping they would be used against me instead.
26 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2005: No Germany sorry. I call that you are going for a solo bid haha
26 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2005: I do apologise for the channel thing - for some reason I only saw the second request of 2. As for the Italian armies thing... just seemed like an awful lot of fuss over nothing. No need to get all stabby
26 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2005: If you're going for a solo that's totally fine, Ukraine and I will hold you off. But you may as well admit that this is what is happening+
26 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: I was being sarcastic lol, I knew you were referring to me.

Although firstly, you can barely even call what I did a stab. I moved to Tuscany to force Rome to disband, as we should be doing anyway. Then you moved out of Auvergne and I just happened to have more support going into there than you did with your following unit, even had I not tapped Navarra. It's not like I used Lyon to support Switzerland into Marseilles to prevent you taking it, that would be more of a stab.

But no, I'm not stupid enough to think I have a chance of soloing. Honestly, it's almost insulting that you think that's the case. One would have to be particularly dense to think they stand a chance of soloing in my situation.

As I alluded to earlier, I have to currently and have had to over the past many turns spend a not insignificant amount of units in wiping out England. This leaves me massively vulnerable to a stab by either Ukraine or yourself or both whether separately or combined. Pretty much my entire frontline lies on SCs. An entire line of SCs that is extremely hard to defend as it is, not combined with the fact that a sizeable proportion of my army is stuck up in one corner of the map. So at the same time as wiping out England, I helped both Ukraine and yourself, Spain, in wiping out Poland, Italy, and Russia whilst the 2 of you had the remnants of Turkey and Egypt to deal with. If I were going for the solo, I would finish off my main threat before helping you both finish off yours.

It should be obvious from pretty much every player's perspective that it would take pretty exceptional circumstances for a 23 SC power to beat a 20 SC power and a 16 SC power combined. A combination of an excellent geographical position (one that Germany most definitely does not start with and one that I have not developed into however one that Spain most definitely does start with) and a big difference in skill between the 23 SC power and the other 2 powers (which I do not believe is the case, there surely is some difference as always but it's not that significant).

As you know, Ukraine and I switched from a planned 3-way draw between Ukraine, Germany, and ITALY to a 3-way draw between Ukraine, Germany, and SPAIN purely because of time constraints as it was much faster to get to the draw with you, Spain, than Italy especially given he had already missed 2 phases by that stage. This would be a massively idiotic choice on my part if I intended on soloing.

It's funny to go back and be reminded of the events around Autumn 2003 and then look at this current situation and accusation.
27 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Well this sure does seem like a solo bid to me and Ukraine and I will be treating it with the level of seriousness it deserves. If you do intend on drawing the game on Britain's defeat then great
27 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Don't drag me into this. I'm just ready to be done with this game. None of us have a shot in hell at a solo win. Let's end this game, three way draw, and go on with our lives.
28 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Indeed Ukraine is right, none of us do have a shot in hell. All 3 of us know the other 2 will prevent a solo so banging on about it is a waste of time.

You must either think very highly of me or very lowly of yourself if you think I'm in a position to solo.
28 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: There's no need to get personal here Germany. I'm just saying - the risk is there, you're clearly making moves for it invading auvergne then Navarre, we need to be on our guard
28 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Yeah Germany it's clear what you're trying to do. And you're the only one who can do it at this point.

And obviously we all know that since he doesn't have the draw vote up yet he probably never will. I mean, Spain does, see? So it's only in your interest to destroy Germany if he doesn't vote to draw before this turn is over.

This pretty clearly means that everyone needs to draw before the turn is over :)
28 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: What am I trying to do, Italy?
29 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2006: I thought "going for the solo" was clear in the context that it was what people were talking about.

Regardless, it was a mostly joke-y way to ask for a 5-way draw.
29 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2006: I got your joke Italia. Quite funny I thought
30 Jun 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Yeah, I got the "joke".

I don't think "going for the solo" was clear since I made it pretty obvious I can't solo unless Spain and Ukraine both suck.

My goal for quite a few years has been to get a fleet into the Mediterranean hence why I asked what you think I'm doing.
30 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: No one likes a sore winner, Germany :P
30 Jun 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: :)
01 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: And no one is a winner.
01 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: My draw vote has been casted. Good game gents
01 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Bit rude of Spain to actually try to take one of my SCs. I never did a supported attack on his SCs, only the non-SC regions.
02 Jul 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Clearly you should smite him!
02 Jul 18 UTC Good game all!
02 Jul 18 UTC What, no smiting? Well played folks.
02 Jul 18 UTC Yeah gg wp everyone. Even Germany. Haha
