08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: FYI folks, I'm going into surgery in the morning, and will be incapacitated the next couple of days from it. This may result in a missed turn or two. I'm going to vote pause. I hope you will too. If not, enjoy the spoils.
08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: Also voted Draw for shits and gigs!
08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: Voted pause for you, hope your surgery goes well!
08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: I'll vote pause and draw too, New York being away for a turn put us all at a disadvantage. Hope the surgery goes well!
08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: 1 center peru has his vote in
08 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: Me too.
09 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: Well we tried to get with you still here TX.
09 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: There is still time

Peru! New York! You can save a poor Texan man's life if you give up now!
09 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2010: RIP Texas
10 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: New York we should probably pause at least, if not outright draw. It's kind of a dick move to keep attacking at this point.
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: We should draw
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: You only need to convince New York
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: if he does not agree, he may trie to win solo.
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: What was that back-stabber? Oh sorry, I mean California.
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: ? I do not understand your message
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: The last Cali took a lot of heat for a stab widely seen as dishonorable
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: Okay. Well, first stabs are unfortunately part of this game (if we like it or not), second I replaced the old player.
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: I didn't know Cali was replaced. News to me!
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: Apparently there was chat in global... I didn't see it. :( how do you know someone got replaced?
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: You see it here: "Bet: 0"
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2011: Oh... Well I would have paused if I read it... Too late now, let the battle continue.
12 May 18 UTC Spring, 2012: What is your goal for this game, New York?
13 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2012: Not to loose?
13 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2012: Why dont you agree to a draw? Do you wanna attack Quebec soon and win solo?
14 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2012: readied
16 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2013: I predict a solo win for NY.
16 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2013: He already took Havanna.
16 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2013: Crazy that everybody attacks me.
19 May 18 UTC Spring, 2015: ready
23 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2016: Repent! The end is nigh!
23 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2016: The solo win is close.
23 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2016: Supporting Sanf inro Los
Moving to Hawai Request support
23 May 18 UTC Spring, 2017: Do you mind if I take it? There is a 100% chance I get both it and Los An by the end of the year, so it takes the same amount of time.
23 May 18 UTC Spring, 2017: Sure
24 May 18 UTC Spring, 2017: If this should end as a draw this shows how bad all players played. I hope this isn't a noob game.

And don't blame me, I had no choice against 3 players...
24 May 18 UTC Spring, 2017: Do you actually believe your own propaganda? If this game ends in a draw, it shows how successful the process of diplomacy was. I'm sure, as a game, there had to be a mechanism to "win" but if the title of the game is any indication of the spirit it ought to foster, a true victory is a draw.

Who the hell is blaming you, and for what??

Sorry for fanning the flames, all, but am just curious as to the line of thought behind the rants.
24 May 18 UTC Spring, 2017: I agree with Florida. Yes I have the ability to win out right, but I only got this far because Quebec and I decided to work together. Plus Florida at the start was afk which gave me a hudge advantage. I decided to help him instead as repayment.

I'm trying to wipe you out because Cali back stabbed British Columbia at critical point in the game where it still could have gone either way for the two big alliances.

Although this is a game and you win more points solo, you tend to only win when you work together and trusting one another.
24 May 18 UTC Spring, 2017: I won't leave too long a comment but the long and short of it is that I told New York to go for the win and he said he was willing to draw. What was I going to do, tell him to go for a solo anyway? This is only possible because New York chose not to solo. You just got unlucky Cali that you joined a match against three players willing to draw, although I am sorry you were cut out of it. There really isn't much you could have done about that.
24 May 18 UTC Spring, 2017: "I only got this far because Quebec and I decided to work together."
True, but it does not mean that you cannot win solo. Deception is an important part of this game.
Bear in mind that I did not stab anyone in this game, I joined later.

"You tend to only win when you work together and trusting one another." This is an anonymous game, so you do not need to build up a good relationship for the time after this game.
24 May 18 UTC Spring, 2017: It's called a sense of integrity that people are still good in an anonymous game. That's what makes honor honorable.

Deception is an important part of this game but so are commitments. There is deception to those you've chosen to designate as the enemy and sincerity to those you choose to call "ally." Why is it you only choose to see one side?

Quebec is right. You inherited the ill-will wrought by your predecessor. I'm against attacking a new player just because he's new but if something was already brewing, there's little you can do about it. What really gets me is when people decide to use the word ally to lull a new player into an agreement and then stab them because "they're new." THAT is bullcrap. Anyhow, whichever side I'm on rests.
24 May 18 UTC Autumn, 2017: I wish the phase were longer than 12 hours or I wouldn't have DMR'ed at such a crucial time, this looks like it would have been a really fun game to play
26 May 18 UTC Spring, 2018: So is this GG?
26 May 18 UTC Spring, 2018: Yes, you can vote draw now.
26 May 18 UTC Spring, 2018: You should have done it earlier....
26 May 18 UTC Spring, 2018: Buf if New York understands the principles of this game he would win solo and nobody could stop him.
26 May 18 UTC Spring, 2018: I think you misunderstand the principles of this game :)
26 May 18 UTC Spring, 2018: I don't deny you are right though that no one can stop a solo NY win should he choose to
26 May 18 UTC GG all. Well played. Don't forget, it's better to have friends!
26 May 18 UTC amen
26 May 18 UTC GG guys
