18 May 18 UTC Well done Luke Miller... always hard to win as Italy. Germany, we cooperated well, but I was begging for you to take Norway and build an extra army. I built in Liverpool to indicate I wasn't going to defend myself, then sat in Clyde for a while to show it was a useless unit, then moved to Nwg and supported you to Norway. Oh well... :-)
18 May 18 UTC Ah your totally right I should have done that, I got caught out by having too many fleets. Didn’t look closely enough at the failed orders apologies
18 May 18 UTC Well played Luke Miller though
18 May 18 UTC Yeah, if only of those fleets had been an army, we would have had a good chance. :-)
18 May 18 UTC Thanks. You had me worried there. If you had gotten into Tryolia, even just for a turn, you could have broken my defense of Marseilles by bumping Piedmont. Turkey held on for far longer than I thought he would. Of course, Germany getting into Vienna was also scary. Britain put good pressure on Marsielles. I never felt like I was safe to take Spain, so I tried to keep France alive. I'm sorry I failed. :(

When I had an army in Piedmont supporting Marseilles and an army in Venice bouncing Tyrolia, I locked down the whole northern border of Italy proper. I couldn't move either of those armies, they were too important. This meant I couldn't get freshly built reinforcements past. That was an interesting challenge.

Everyone played very well. It was a fun game. Thanks!
