30 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Welcome to the game everyone! Seriously, if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask them either in private or the global chat. Honestly, playing is the easiest way to learn, but I'd be happy to offer advice/mechanics explanations. First piece of advice: Don't trust Jeremy. Second: Send lots of messages.
30 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1901: First rule: don’t trust Klatt. There is no second rule. Especially as a central power.
30 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Lolz
30 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Honestly, I love playing as Italy and Austria, but they are kind of crazy in the early game. If you get through these first two years in a decent position, though, you'll probably be prominent throughout.
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: Well, two players missing...do we continue or just call it?
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'd rather call it and find two players who will play, personally. We can either advertise it on the forum or if we know two who will be dedicated invite them.
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: I honestly think josh would be consistent. But I’m with you. I want a full 7.
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: I’ve voted draw but you all do what you want.
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: I have a draw and cancel vote up
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: Didn’t know you could do both. haha
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: Would everyone here want to play one on ancient med?
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: I would be up for that.
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm in for anc med. in the advanced options, there is a don't process on X. Don't process on Sundays would be better for me.
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm not a huge fan of Med, but I could do one. We really should try to get seven at some point, though haha
03 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: No I agreed. I’m gonna talk to josh about it tomorrow at the super bowl party. He’d be down I’m sure.
04 Feb 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: I didn’t see the option for don’t process on “X.” Does anyone else see it?

Also, have we talked to Kaiser or Penguin about this? One might be interested.
05 Feb 18 UTC Man, why do I even play with you people lol. In the six games that I've played with family on this site, anybody want to take a guess as to how many times total I've received support from someone else lol?
05 Feb 18 UTC This is the seventh game, by the way, and looking at the way the board was moving, this wasn't going to get any better haha.
05 Feb 18 UTC #nevertrustaklatt
haha jk but true, you do seem to be the one getting shafted most often.
05 Feb 18 UTC You’re just too good, it’s like Joel when we play mafia at reunion.
05 Feb 18 UTC I'm still not sure why I drew in the two games where I DID get support haha. Neither of those games were stalemated. Regardless, I've received support 4 times, 4!!! and only had one real alliance in 6 (about to be 7) games. This is ludicrous I tell you.
05 Feb 18 UTC I think we've proven that I'm NOT too good haha (although with how many NMRs we have, none of these games have really counted) By the way, I think we should go ahead and start a Med game. I'm itching for some more diplomacy (which is bad because I'm already in two games haha)
05 Feb 18 UTC Should I make one? I don't think we have the no process on Sundays thing, but if we do two day phases, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
05 Feb 18 UTC Also, by the way, everybody should at least put in some orders. No sense hurting your reliability ratings with a junkie NMR here.
05 Feb 18 UTC haha I can just hear the passion in the text. lol but yes, you really do need to be able to work with people. I haven’t made any moves against you this time. We could have made great allies. ;P

Yea, I started to make one but no good. I’ll go ahead and start one up. It’ll be named carpe diem, and the password will be “somethingclever”
05 Feb 18 UTC I do actually really like working together as Russia and Germany, but it takes a lot of trust, which neither of us have for each other lol

Just to make it a little easier
06 Feb 18 UTC haha this is true, I think we could have worked something out. But I agree, let’s get this next one on the road. I’m itchen to start!
06 Feb 18 UTC I think I have only played on Med once. And it didn't end well haha. Here is to learning!
06 Feb 18 UTC It's fine. Basically, everyone ends up starting at six centers, so you at least always feel like you have a chance after year 1. I don't think it's as fun as regular, but it's still good.
07 Feb 18 UTC Wtf!? Where is the second fleet I built?
07 Feb 18 UTC Thought it was strange you’d only build one.
07 Feb 18 UTC That mistake effectively takes me out of the game :(
07 Feb 18 UTC If it makes you feel better, this game is pretty much over seeing how Italy and Austria haven't done anything.
07 Feb 18 UTC I'm not upset. It is silly though that you need all 7 to cancel. I can understand needing 7 for a draw, but if 5 of 7 want to cancel a game, it shouldn't be that difficult, especially in the first year or so.
07 Feb 18 UTC Is there a way to get a hold of JG and Herbert Hancock and ask them to cancel?
07 Feb 18 UTC Playing on a phone...it's my fault.
07 Feb 18 UTC After this phase processes, it should cancel
07 Feb 18 UTC Okay. I'm in for a Fog of War game if we can find the bodies.
07 Feb 18 UTC I think we have an ancient med game linked above if you want to join that too.
