06 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1903: Slight deviation from the game at hand... but I've just discovered that the word gnu is pronounced "noo", and not "gunoo" or "ganoo" as I've always heard and believed to be true.

I'm in a state of shock that may last some time...
06 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1903: gunoo is a joke in a specific song, it's meant to be wrong. I assume you heard it there.
06 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1903: That's the thing. Until last night I'd never heard of the song either. Nor was I entirely sure what a gnu was, for that matter. But (possibly because of the song) the only times I'd ever heard someone say gnu, they said gunoo.

I reckon it's one of those generational things. Like, because of a misprint in a school dictionary, an entire generation of Brits grew up convinced that the correct spelling of dilemma was dilemna
06 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1903: Gosh... that was quite a turn...
08 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1903: here's the gnu song.

16 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1904: I think we need another song. As good as the Gnu song is, you can only watch it so many times.
16 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1904: Good game, Germany. A fine fight :)
24 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Right, in light of your recent orders it is time to start a new working relationship.

I can continue to work towards you taking the third position in the draw, but you will have to meet certain requirements.

1 The Prussian Fleet does not move. You enter a hold order.

2. The Moscow Army does not move. You enter a hold order.

These conditions are none negotiable.

Toodles for now :)
24 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: That's for Russia, by the way :(
24 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Damn it... the :( was meant to be a :)
26 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Good game, Italy
08 Feb 18 UTC Cheers for the game, all!
