19 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Wunderbar! What a start! Just a bully show from everyone. Though I see russia had some bumps down in the southern border and may be a bit busy, I have a cousin in Switzerland who makes the most amazing schnitzel and I would love to invite you all for a lovely summer picnic. Auf Wiedersehen!
19 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: What do you think the chances of reaching Autumn of 1901 by the end of today are?
19 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Pretty high
19 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: That would be ideal because then I can get a second order in before I leave for cuba tomorrow morning.
19 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Well the build phase should go pretty quickly right?
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Ummm... Hey Italy??? Why is there and army (and not a fleet in Tunis). And why is there anything in the DMZ??
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Ummm... Hey France??? Why is there and army (an not a fleet in Portugal). And why is there anything in Munich??
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Because we had an agreement, and then you started to orchestrate and attack against me, this was the best defense I could think of to combat you and your backstabbing nation...
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: I knew I could never trust a man who put his army into Burgundy rather than Picardy.
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: I asked your permission before putting my army there...
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hey, I just didn't want you getting belgium, Spain, and Portugal and be planning on taking England for yourself while I'm over here with Holland and Denmark. Don't get greedy! But the time for words is over! Now is the time for War!
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Then perhaps talking to me about it instead of arranging for an invasion would have been a better plan...

20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: MAY 10, 1871 BEST DAY OF MY LIFE
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: ^ @france
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franco-Prussian_War
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: ow, that cuts deep Germany
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: NOTE: I will be in cuba starting tomorrow morning. I have saved my build orders so that when the turn ends they will be built. Hopefully I will have figured out internet in the next five days after that to commence my next movement turn. But at this time there probably won't be anything happening movement wise for the next 10 or so days.
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Good Luck, and have fun in Cuba!!!!
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Looks like there's no internet in cuba:(
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: There is incredibly intermittent and limited internet in Cuba. The native population only just got access to internet at all a few years ago and its limited to hotspots placed around the city where you pay by the hour. In some hotels, like the one I am staying in, they do have on site internet. However, we are leaving this hotel today so who knows when I will have connection again.
23 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Heyooo
28 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: I'm voting to pause till we hear from GER.
28 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: The problem is, Germany needs to show up to vote pause . . .
28 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: Ah, yeah, that is potentially problematic...
28 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: we could all agree to hold for this spring and fall and then start spring of 1903 as if it were 1902? I don't think there are any game-rule repercussions of this, but I wouldn't want to do this unless I knew the other five people were on board with this plan.
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: I would be on board with this plan
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: I will agree to this plan if we can get agreement from Italy, Turkey, and England
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: I am on board with holding for the spring and fall, provided England and Italy are.
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: I am going to leave for an event with my family in 2 to 3 hours. If I do not hear from England and Italy by then, I will keep my units in their current configuration (moving). If both of them agree to the plan then I will change the order to have all of my units hold before leaving.
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: I have to leave....
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: I'll hold... I hope England and Italy hold as well.. or if they don't that they use this fall to back out of whatever they just did...
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: ALL OF MY UNITS ARE IN THE HOLDING POSITION
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: SEE YOU!
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: please don't punish me...
29 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: holding too
30 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1902: Since I have not heard from England on holding armies, my northern fleets will still move. Southern forces will hold. To be clear, all I will be doing is moving St Petersburg into Norway
30 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Since we’ll probably hold for fall I’ll move back into St Petersburg then as lon as I get buy in from England
30 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: I guess there is no reason to pause now... in less than 10 days Ark will be back at Carleton and will definitely have internet, once Ark gets in (hopefully soon) we can skip through the rest of fall with Russia reversing their action (after hearing reassurance from England) and then we can start spring of 1903 as if it were spring of 1902 (and hopefully move a rate faster than 5 days per turn).
30 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: I agree to this plan and will be holding all of my units
02 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: England can you reassure Russia that you are not going to make any moves on Norway this coming fall so Russia can move out of there and the game can begin as normal next Spring?
03 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: Russia I assure you I will not be making any moves on Norway this coming fall.
03 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1902: Thank you England
05 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1903: As much I I like long drawn out deliberations, I also appreciate action and decisive play, so if we can make our actions on a more every-other-day basis, I think that would be really great!
13 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm out, so don't there won't be any more diplomacy for me. I will only be holding and disbanding for the rest of the game.
21 Jan 18 UTC Spring, 1905: Russia, you want to ready?
31 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1906: Did we draw for this term because I thought I had put in save rather than ready.
31 Jan 18 UTC Autumn, 1906: Actually never mind.
29 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1909: NEVER SURRENDER
30 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 1909: Good luck with that one!
