01 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1904: Sure ! :-)
01 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I am again playing a live...
01 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: All good. I need to think, anyways. :)
01 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well. I really played badly last turn...
01 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I don't really think so.

I happened to outguess your plans for Ruhr (as in: support hold vs support move) but that was just luck.
01 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I don't know... But it is clear I can't complain of the situation in Med...
01 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: You are the best guesser I have ever met :-)
01 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: hah!

I didn't outguess the Kiel defense, though.
03 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: You are a great player... :-)
03 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: As are you. :)

I'll keep fighting because I want to see how you'll reach 18, but I'm fairly sure that you've already won.
03 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well. If you go on postponing my winning move all this may end with a draw !
03 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Anyway here the situation has become difficult for you.
03 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: I need to think. See you tomorrow !
04 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Crazy game... :-)

But it is over.
I have got my stalemate :

GoL S Tus
( Rom + Nap ) S Apu
Tyr H
Tun H
Mar H

And North Sea and Hol can take the last centers and then StP.
04 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1908: Yup, I'll hold all units to speed it up.

Very crazy good. Well played.
Congrats on the belt! ;)
04 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1908: very crazy game*
04 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1908: As promised we can discuss the situation when I was at Tri. I thought that I had played badly but on the other side, I you had not gone to Kie I would not have retreated to Den and you would have taken Scandinavia...
04 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1908: ( but I go to work in 5 minutes. )
04 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1908: I have to go. Have a good night.
04 Dec 17 UTC I spent a lot of time deciding whether the Rumania unit was better served going Scandinavia or to Turkey, and even though it didn't work out, I think sending it north was the better option.

In my mind, the only way I would win was to press my sc advantage quickly before you had time to react (since in a long game you'd build fleets faster, and eventually take UK/StP).

I think my biggest mistake (post-Trieste) was not realizing you were either going to defend Kiel or Sweden, and so taking Kiel was in the realm of possibility in Spring 1905. I didn't even try for it! Granted, it wasn't a defensible position in the long term, but I think I could've held 1 extra sc in the north until ~1907.

Hindsight is always 20-20 when we're trying to outguess each other, but I'd be interested if you would have done anything major differently in my position. It seems like the post-Trieste position is fairly France-sided (under the assumption that France always makes optimal plays as you did).
