16 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Ok with me.
16 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Absolutely. Please take all the time you need. Condolences, man.
21 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Welcome back, France.
21 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Welcome back bro
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I’m giving this game another 24 hours and I’m going to message mods to unpassend since the player who requested pause has returned. Unless turkey has a reason to keep the Pause.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Even Trump was willing to pardon a Turkey this Thanksgiving. Seems our Italian player is not so forgiving.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: That’s a good one.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: With the American Holiday coming up tomorrow, would there be some merit in keeping things paused for a short while? Especially if it gives us more time to find out what's keeping Turkey?
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: True. I didn’t think of the holiday. :)
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Sure
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Not everyone celebrates that holiday.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Well, speaking as an American, I've always found celebrating Thanksgiving a bit...uncomfortable. I try not to think about it too much and just eat food with my family, and hope that the football games aren't horrible to watch.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I am American. My family celebrates but I live far away from them and so I will be ordering Chinese tomorrow. But I honestly forgot that the holiday was this week (thiught it was next week)
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Unless my reading of the board is wrong it looks like you will be carving up Turkey one way or the other
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'll try to make some more bad jokes about Thanksgiving and Turkey on this thread
23 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I can unpause now, or do you want to wait?
23 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'd submit to the will of the majority, but I'd vote to wait until Friday.
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Is turkey cooked?
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Okay. Let's get this show on the road.
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Unpaused!
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Dope. Would it be acceptable to ask for readied orders if everyone is ready?? If not I can be patient :)
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Okay. Back to the matters at hand
26 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Is everyone here? Do we need a pause for Turkey and Germany?
26 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'm so back.
10 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hey everyone. I've had a rough weekend, and I need a few days to sort some things out. Could we get a pause for just a few days, just until Tuesday? I know it's late, but I hope everyone is okay with that.
10 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ok pause is in.
13 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Sorry I'm a day late, but I'm ready to resume the game. Thanks for your patience, everyone.
13 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Unpaused. Just as an advance warning/request I am traveling on December 23 and would love it if we could have a pause then. I'd actually support a longer pause for the holidays if folks are interested, but would be fine if people prefer we play through as well.
13 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: I am away and can't unpaase til tomorrow
13 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Is anyone opposed to a 4wd?
13 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: I dont think anyone can solo this. At best we will be jockeying for of me or Germamy gets cut out. Im disinclined to make that happen
14 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm amenable to waiting to unpause for Turkey. You guys have been patient with me, and I'm happy to be patient with ya'll.
14 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Forgot this was SoS we can just draw now if you guys want.
14 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Unpaused!
19 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: As mentioned above, I will be traveling for the holidays. I would appreciate a pause from dec 22 - 24 as I will be on an airplane for a good chunk of that time. Practically speaking, a pause after this move phase would likely be best. I would be happy to accommodate a longer pause for the holidays if folks prefer, but am open to resuming play on 24th if that is what everyone wants. Hope everyone is having a good holiday season in real life.
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Pause vote is in.
21 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Thank you everyone for accommodating the pause. I will vote to unpause on Sunday, but am happy to accommodate a longer pause for the holidays if that is better for people. I will need another couple-days pause on January 5 when I fly back. Thanks again.
25 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Ok... are we unpausing its now monday
27 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Why are we still paused
27 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Italy has not voted unpause, that is why.
29 Dec 17 UTC Good game all. I think this was an interesting game that probably had a good deal of play in it, but it was one of those weird situations where the downside of continuing probably outweighed the upside for all or nearly all the remaining players. I was also ready for this one to end since I am traveling in the UK for the holidays and don’t really have the bandwidth for diplomacy at the moment. I do have some more detailed eog thoughts that I will share in the near future. Good game all.
29 Dec 17 UTC Interesting. I did not know yigg was so fun in press!
29 Dec 17 UTC Byron! Oh man I am sorry how that all turned on ya
29 Dec 17 UTC GG everyone special thanks to Germany and France for keeping me in this as long as possible.
29 Dec 17 UTC Gg , just didn’t end in my favor. :)
29 Dec 17 UTC A good game, everyone! I had a blast, and I'm glad I could play.

And I'm glad I could impress, bb! :)
