25 Nov 17 UTC | GG, I almost thought I had it for a minute. I made a few mistakes that I think cost me the game. I should have waited to take out Russia. And I screwed up in 1904 by building 3 fleets. I meant to build 2 fleets and an army, but I must have clicked the wrong button. I was trying hard to eliminate Italy and see if nothing else if I could get it down to a three way draw, but Italy was a tough enemy and prooved just a little too resilient. Good game by everyone! |
25 Nov 17 UTC | Great game, thanks. We all make mistakes, especially with button pushing, I know it!! Good job by the late alliance for a draw |
25 Nov 17 UTC | Thanks for the cooperation Rancher! Good game y'all. |
25 Nov 17 UTC | UAU! I got it to the end! Good work Ranger and Longstreet. Perfect timing. |
25 Nov 17 UTC | Never had much of a chance after getting stonewalled in Fall '01. I tried to make myself useful to Turkey and England by attacking Germany, but I guess they were a bit impatient. Just can't get far without allies. Great game! |
25 Nov 17 UTC | Hey Russia can you elaborate why attacking Germany was useful? |
26 Nov 17 UTC | It wasn't useful, because it didn't work. Turkey moved a fleet to Sev, but was between me and Austria.I could defend StP, but only at the expense of any growth at all. I hoped that by attacking you, England would think me more valuable alive than dead, and if I picked up even one of your SCs, I'd be able to mount some sort of offensive. Probably just wishful thinking, but a 3 SC Russia doesn't have a lot of straws to grasp at. |
