01 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Kenya]:Hey, new Kenya here, who here was in the last game/who's new? |
01 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Oz]:Probably shouldn't answer that question. It could lead to meta-gaming. |
01 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Western-Canada]:Kenya, pretty sure we had an alliance, mate. |
01 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Western-Canada]:;) |
01 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Argentina]:I've been allied with all of you in every game I've ever played! |
01 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Europe]:I was the mod from the last game, you're all under arrest |
01 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 2000: [Argentina]:lol |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Europe]:I honestly kind of hate Europe's start |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Kenya]:"I honestly kind of hate Europe" - Europe, Autumn 2000 |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog that counts... |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Western-Canada]:You're in a corner on land, so it's easier to defend. Good and bad. |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Oz]:This map is definitely less balanced than the other variants. China has it pretty rough. |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Europe]:Can't really expand though, and there's a bunch of tiny sea zones so it's less efficient to have lots of fleets but I also need lots of fleets to defend full stop |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Libya]:looks like there is some beef in the Americas... |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Near-East]:This map is “pretty imbalanced” for all the nations. This map, diplomacy is more important than any other map in my opinion because if you can create solid alliances then you can work out of any jam. I have seen every nation succeed on this map and none more frequently than any other. |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Ghana]:Interesting that it's a clash over the North Pacific and not the Indian Territories. |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Europe]:Yeah, I have no idea why one of them didn't just go along the coast but I didn't wanna say anything |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Western-Canada]:Hindsight is 20/20, Europe. Speaking purely hypothetically, of course, there are several reasons: 1) Lack of communication 2) Misunderstanding 3) Lies 4) *Elaborate Strategy* 5) Neither of us want Indian Territories and wish to start our circumnavigation of the world asap Take your pick. |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Oz]:1. Don't acquire any new centers 2. ........ 3. Profit |
02 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Ghana]:I see. The team are competing for first to circumnavigate the globe. |
