As you might be able to tell from the play I made, I wanted to have a fleet in MAO in Fall '01 so I could slide Bre-MAO-NAO in Spring '02 to set up the convoy. I didn't have anything better to do with Brest anyway, so bouncing you in Channel certainly wasn't a waste of my time. It kept you out of Channel.

Like I said, I was planning to attack you as soon as I saw that I was playing France. This was going to be an uphill battle for you no matter what.
