06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:Central America to Calcuta?
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Quebec]:lol
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:What? There is perfect convoy route - just 9 fleets :)
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Quebec]:it would be shorter going west if you had a fleet in Java Sea... only 6 fleet route.
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Quebec]:I saw a game of this where just prior to a 4 way draw, every ocean was filled and every fleet on the entire map ordered a convoy of one army from two very far away places, just to see the map draw it.
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]::D it would be fun. But for now my priority is to finish this game before XMas. Otherwise I might NMR a bit.
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Brazil]:Thats just a lovely convoy! If you and Québec are in I’m ready for Cen-Calcutta :D
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:Up to you Quebec. I am all in.
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Quebec]:sure, I'll do it.
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Near-East]:I remember one Empire IV game where Peru, Florida, Quebec, and California convoyed from Bogota to Lima.
07 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Quebec]:my convoy order is in: Central - Calcutta
07 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Brazil]:My 4 convoy orders are in
07 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Quebec]:make sure nothing can be dislodged.
08 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Brazil]:Beautiful :)
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Oz]:Are we heading to some 4-way? Or it will be random draw just before Xmas?
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Brazil]:Oz: I’m taking Delhi this turn OK? Just so we dont bounce :)
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Quebec]:Speaking generally, I am going to try for Moscow and Ukraine, East Siberia to Oz? Delhi and Afghanistan to Brasil? Seems like Ghana can get Italy and Turkey, but Armenia and Iraq are going to be tough for anyone to take, especially Armenia.
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Oz]:Sure I will not. I can take East Siberia for now. Then I will probably look for some oportunity, but we can make it work.
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Oz]:Any convoy request?
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Near-East]:I've been a bit slow on the moves recently because of university finals.
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Near-East]:Sorry if I'm slowing the game down.
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Oz]:Have you graduated at least?
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Near-East]:lol, it's just the first quarter.
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [Oz]:Nice. I just dont know near east education system.
10 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Near-East]:lol, I meant real life. I live in CA rl.
10 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:i think Oz was joking...
10 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Oz]:Yeah I was. Brazil NMR? C'mon.
10 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Brazil]:Im back, sorry.
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Oz]:Fiesta in Brazil?
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Ghana]:More like a siesta.
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Ghana]:Oz I will support you into Iraq this turn while Brazil moves behind you into Iran. Next turn I will support Brazil into Armenia and Brazil can move his other army into Afghanistan. That leaves Quebec to take Ukraine, then a nice draw for four of us. Does anyone object to that? Other than Near East?
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Brazil]:Sounds good! Oz also need to move to Arabian Sea so the Iraq fleet cant retreat there.
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Oz]:I have no fleet there. But idea seems really good. But I expect Quebec to have objections ;)
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:you expect me to have objections, really? Why?
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Oz]:For a pleasure of game :) Would you like to try some 2on2 in the end?
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:well, we'd have to pick teams, and agree on a starting point, but depending on which teams we pick, it might just stalemate again. Also, might be kind of hard to pick fair teams. Plus Ghana's position is indestructible, we've already established that, he can defend at 1005, but also difficult for him to attack, with s many armies with no place to go. Quebec, Oz and Brasil all have defenses that could be beaten, but also position that attacks can be launched from. Also, Brasil's' SC in India are hopelessly impossible to defend, unless he's on your team.

The biggest problem with doing a 2 v 2 end battle is that Ghana has no risk at all, Africa will always be painted pink, but it is possible that Quebec, Brasil or Oz could actually be permanently eliminated. Won't be easy or fast, but it is possible.
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:100% not 1005
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:and if a 3 v 1 evolves, kind of sucks for the guy who is left out, eh? Except Ghana, doesn't matter to him. But all three of Quebec, Brasil or Oz could be eliminated entirely in a 3 v 1 scenario. Might be better for us all to take the 4 way, we all get some good points out of it.
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Oz]:Sure, lets finish the game then. I am just guessing if I could figure out what your nick is, I will tell you once revealed :)
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:Finally, if I thought someone could solo, I would have a different view, I've look at all three Quebec, Brasil and Oz. Does not appear that a solo is possible for anyone, as with this group of four, the other three would bind together like we did against Ghana, and a solo would be stopped, even worse, going for a solo includes a significant risk of elimination.
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:if we could have actually invaded and destroyed Ghana, we would have certainly done so, so if Oz or Quebec or Brasil stabbed and went for solo, the other three would react, join together, stop the solo and then destroy the stabber. None of the three of us enjoy the luxury of a 100% defendable African position.
11 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Oz]:So one more year. NE is gone and we can enjoy feast of winners.
13 Dec 17 UTC [Brazil]:@Ghana: Since NE moved to WCh I can’t move on Arm this turn. I have to defend Del, and then take Afg with the army in Iran..
13 Dec 17 UTC [Ghana]:Alright
14 Dec 17 UTC [Oz]:Up to you brazil if you want to take last SC or convince Quebec to draw and let NE survive.
14 Dec 17 UTC [Brazil]:I pressed draw, so I’m ready. If Québec insists I can of course move to Armenia this year, but those few extra points isnt that important really. I’m extremely busy these days, so just good to finish this now :)
15 Dec 17 UTC [Near-East]:gg, and Merry Christmas.
15 Dec 17 UTC [Near-East]:Well, in a few days.
15 Dec 17 UTC [Ghana]:I enjoyed this one! Great game to all that stayed with it.
15 Dec 17 UTC [Oz]:Merry Xmas to everyone, and see you soon :)
