06 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2012: [Kenya]:Why do weekends get so busy you’re never near a computer
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:@USA yes, some drunks have no idea just how objectionable they become. I've done my dues catching crowd surfers and easing them safely to ground, the trick is as they get pushed forward, usually head first, or side on, when you first make contact, you spin them so their feet are towards you, then slide them closer and with your back up guy, bring them feet first over the barricade, so they come over the right way to be safely handled, not head first.
Backstage is so much better, firstly you are behind the PA so you don't get deafened. Then you only have crew, a few VIPs etc and artists to worry about. Perimeter security keep out the fence jumpers and most well planned outdoor sites have two, even three fence lines around the back stage, so even fence jumpers who get over the outside perimeter don't get easy access to backstage.
What's really being rolled out fast now is facial recognition technologies. Welcome to the brave new world.
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:And Big Brother is watching, you can be sure of that...
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:Yes, it's a combination of the increased number of cameras with the clarity of resolution being deployed, and the continual reduction in cost/improvements in performance & controllable tracking ability; the rapidly improving software & ever increasing CPU speeds and power, plus the big factor.. Networking.
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:Then add Artificial Intelligence & drones to that mix. Twenty years time, the possibilities are reassuring and/or frightening. Personal privacy in public places might well cease to exist.
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:Privacy has already ceased to exist, unless you take serious steps to protect it, but most people don't care.
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:It's a generalisation so there'll be countless exceptions, but maybe, in terms of personal freedom and privacy in public places in "Western nations" the 1960's & 1970's were the Golden years.
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [USA]:Privacy is a quaint notion.
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Lol alright 1984
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2012: [USA]:Not saying it should be but... the Government knows almost everything about us and Google knows the rest. I'd explain in more detail but I need to get my tinfoil hat first.
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Frozen-Antarctica]:RIP Oz. Sorry for the stab.
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Frozen-Antarctica]:And then there was USA and 4 other Muppets failing to stop him soloing
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Frozen-Antarctica]:*5 other muppets
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Oz]:only douche bags do "Dying stabs" where you prolong your own death by poaching SC from another guy dying, it's s dick move, proves you are a dick. Good players stab to win, not to prolong their own death.
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I had my reasons Mr good player
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Quebec]:... I wish I were still alive. :|
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Quebec]:... Also, Oz, it happens to everybody. Can't blame FA for wanting to survive. Although it isn't very nice... But, I suppose one could blame FA, as well as yourself, and each other, for not going after USA, for not banding together, for just spending your precious opportunities for something better than survival, in a low-tier power-struggle. Seriously, you guys had a chance, might still even have a chance... Hohum.

P.S. If any of you call me a muppet, at least I had the excuse of being stuck to the USA with particularly un-cooperative neigbours.
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Oz]:i have been fighting USA from the very moment I showed up.
05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [USA]:Had you fought with the USA... your plight would be unite different now.
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Russia]:NATO stayed loyal & we're coming to restore order to Africa
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Kenya]:Africa would have been much better off with out NATO
06 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2017: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I suppose when USA solos, "order" will probably have been achieved. I didn't realise "order" was what we were striving for here
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2018: [China]:Welcome to the Future everyone
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2018: [Quebec]:Alas, alackaday,
For Oz has fallen in the fray.
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2018: [USA]:Stabbing a tiny country that is doing your bidding in sum of squares scoring is pretty cold blooded.
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2018: [Oz]:and actually hurt his position considerably, and helped yours.
13 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2019: [USA]:Regardless how this turns out, I'm really getting the feeling that there is some outstanding and interesting diplomacy going on. I look forward to seeing who everyone is.
13 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2019: [Quebec]:Ich auch.
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [USA]:Who does everyone want to eliminate? 5 is a big draw but 6 is stopping before the game is done.
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Oz]:Frozen, kill him, he deserves it.
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Can't kill me... USA solos if I die.
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [China]:Might I suggest the country with the fewest SC's? That way we draw quickly
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Oz]:even better, USA solo. Dead Frozen.
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [USA]:I'm not clear how a dead Frozen equals a USA solo. I mean, if USA were allowed all of Frozen, AND the other countries didn't get their acts together, then I could see that but... that's kinda a lot of dominoes to fall into place.

That said, I'm not pushing for it.
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Oz]:KILL FROZEN...
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Oz]:KILL FROZEN...
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Oz]:KILL FROZEN...
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [USA]:Frozen does have a lot of very exposed SCs that a country or two could grab fairly easily. If they wanted... which I'm sure they wouldn't. But if they did...
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Quebec]:So what? Russia's a way easier target!
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Oz]:Whisper in everyone's ears.... kill frozen.... chi chi chi ha ha ha...
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I don't get why we need to cut anyone. Just stalemate US til he gets bored I say.
19 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2020: [Oz]:I see dead people.... I see frozen dead people...
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Quebec]:Yeah! You all profit from doing that; any country-killing will surely result with the USA enlargening their share of the spoils... If, of course, you care about that sort of thing.
20 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Frozen-Antarctica]:After china I am 2nd most important to the anti solo effort. I am not being cut. Sorry
21 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Quebec]:Although I would advise y'all to co-operate with Europe, 'cuz he's taking a beating.
25 Dec 17 UTC [USA]:Good game, everyone.
25 Dec 17 UTC [China]:It's a Christmas Miracle, the game ended
25 Dec 17 UTC [USA]:With some mercy given, I might add.
25 Dec 17 UTC [Frozen-Antarctica]:Merry Christmas one and all. Did not think that USA would let up
25 Dec 17 UTC [Quebec]:Merry Christmas! Fun backseat driving!
