10 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Oz]:*me
10 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Russia]:Yeah it honestly felt dirty and a little too real
10 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Oz]:*me
10 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Oz]:Russia and the West fighting over the Middle East, who woulda thunk
10 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Oz]:Russia and the West fighting over the Middle East, who woulda thunk
10 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Near-East]:We are just biding our time.
10 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Libya]:The middle east is going under ground to wait for nuclear winter. Then when the fallout has blown over they'll come back up to take over the world.
11 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Kenya]:to think in the early game I had the most armies... not look at me... i wish I was good at this game
11 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2010: [Near-East]:I was doing quite well in the early game as well. All good things must come to an end.
12 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Oz]:Ya, it's kinda funny how you two were so powerful in the beginning! And Libya was the one on the brink of destruction
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:I honestly think it was partly luck and partly just having chosen the right allies. The peguins attacked Kenya in the right time for me to stabilize and slowly get more and more territory.

It's great to become a really strong power, but you also need to have strong allies which means you sometimes have to make compromises.
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:And very early in the game Russia kept me alive and going which led to me being able to stabilize.
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Quebec]:My strong ally turned on me due to Russian corruption. Clearly USA is role playing a certain administration. :P
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:By no accounts do I think you played badly Kenya. Sometimes you need to have a little luck with how people respond against you. I obviously don't know the talks you had with the previous Peguins, but perhaps he would have been willing to work with you had you promised to give him Southern Africa if he'd help you take me out, and for you to take Northern Africa.

An important thing, I think, in Dimplomacy is to know when you are in a position of power and can make demands and when you are in a position of weakness and you need to be humble and generous.

That's just my 2 cents ^^
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Russia]:Yeah there was a lot of push and pull this game
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Libya]:For sure
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Oz]:Oh yea, there were plenty of moments where I had to compromise, but in the end I got a little cocky, hoping for something that never came, and well *looks at her retreats* It's all crumbling XD I make good plans, but I need flexible plans, not just brilliant ones. This isn't some Victoria 2 MP game.
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Oz]:It's not just strategy, one could say, it's a game of..... DIPLOMACY!!!!
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [USA]:Actually, Quebec, I just saw an opportunity and took it. We never really worked together, so I didn't feel any sense of loyalty. I'm sure you felt the same way about Western Canada (I really don't like that name btw, why couldn't the designers have named that country "Yukon"?)
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [USA]:I also don't like that "Near East" isn't named "Saudi Arabia", and that the territory of Saudi Arabia isn't just "Arabia."
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [USA]:and the territory of Spain should really be called "Iberia."
13 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Oz]:Well the province isn't named Saudia Arabia because it includes Oman, Yemen, Palestine, Israel, and the UAE, and it was called the Near East as that is Geographical location's name in when referencing Asia, and then Western Canada makes more sense than Yukon is mostly void of humans, although something like Athabasca, Metis Confederacy, or Columbia would make more proper sense, namely Columbia being the most populated area with Vancouver. But I whole heartedly agree with you on the Spain thing though
14 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Kenya]:I feel like im too trusting to for this, dunno...
14 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Russia]:Yeah I think you need a certain level of paranoia for this game
14 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [China]:it isn't paranoia when you are right
14 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [USA]:no, gyna, the saying is "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you"
14 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2011: [Oz]:Damnit XD I fell asleep before I punched my moves in last night, this, this is defiently the end for me lol
23 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2013: [USA]:Australia, you know you need to hit "Ready" when you're done with your turn, right?
26 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2014: [USA]:Again, Australia?
26 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 2014: [Russia]:It's pretty obnoxious
04 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Russia]:I honestly cannot wait to knock you out, Oz. Your refusal to lock in moves has extended this game at least a week
04 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Libya]:I also honestly don't understand what you are trying to achieve with this? It's not going to change any outcomes, just make things annoying. :(
04 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Frozen-Antarctica]:you know this is an 'unranked' game right? no points for victory and it doesn't count in the GR
04 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2015: [USA]:Yes
04 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Oz]:All players lied to me and I do not need to reward you.
04 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Oz]:Well, all players except Frozen-Antarctica
05 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Russia]:Welcome to coming into a losing position in diplomacy
06 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 2016: [USA]:Hope you guys like waiting
07 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [USA]:Hey, we didn't have to wait!
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [USA]:Good game, everybody.
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Frozen-Antarctica]:this game sucked the big heinie
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Oz]:It was full of lies and wrong promises.
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Russia]:I dunno, I thought it went pretty well. Full of pushes and pulls
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [USA]:Welcome to Diplomacy, Oz and Antarctica.
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Oz]:Lying is not the best strategy. But obviously I cannot overtake a bad position and win against 3/4 other players.
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Oz]:Autumn, 2011: [Russia]:Hey, my understanding was they were allied with the Antarctic which attacked my ally Libya. I'm fine with a ceasefire if we'd agree to move our fleets south to finish them off and have a 4 way drae
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Oz]:Autumn, 2011: [Libya]:Show some co-operation and show that you can be usefull and you're much more likely to survive the end of the game. Don't you think?

...
only liars..
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Oz]:No reason to be proud of this victory.
08 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2016: [Libya]:What I proposed is that you retreated back to Indonesia, let Russia have Asia and help us take down the antartics. That's what I personally would have done if I joined a game in your position. Show a willingness to co-operate, you know wether you struggle or give in, we have the power to absolutly crush you, the more you struggle the less reason you give us to include you in a draw.

You only showed continuous signs of struggle and at that point there was nothing I could do for you anymore :).

You tried your best though, you joined a losing fight but you held out great even though I personally don't agree with your strategy. Good luck in your next games (Y)
09 Oct 17 UTC [Libya]:Great game everyone! Well played!
