23 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Each great power is assigned a bounty before the beginning of the game. The bounties for each great power on a team must come from different teams.

At the end of the game, your team earns:
a) One (1) bounty point if the bounty has been eliminated; and
b) One (1) bounty point if your team controls all of the bounty's home supply centers.
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: I've let groza know that we're all here. He should be sending around pairings and bounty targets soon. We have plenty of time with three days for each move. Should be an interesting experiment.
Win conditions:
1) Control 33 SCs as a team
2) In a draw/stalemate, have the most bounty points as a team based on what Jeff has outlined above.
3) Otherwise a draw among the remaining survivors.
The game is unranked of course, so this won't affect your overall record as it is an unconventional format.
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Groza told me to expect a message with pairings sometime around 3-4 hours from now, so patience is appreciated.
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: ie ~Midnight Eastern time
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Hmm...it actually isn't unranked - I guess I missed doing that. Still, small points in the end.
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: So, to be clear, each team will have two bounties, and the bounties each member of a team has will not be on two other players on a team together?
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Each team has two bounties, but they could be anybody (other than each other)
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: The real question here is who has the nicest pair?
Mine are pretty nice but I'd like to hear others descriptions.
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: It should be set up so that there is not one team vs a second team. All the bounties should form a chain.
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: I have a bountiful pair. My bounty overfloweth.
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: My bounty is the quicker-picker-upper.
24 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Hefty, Hefty, Hefty is not wimpy, wimpy, wimpy!
25 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Ooooh, a daisy chain. Workin' on the chain gang.
25 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Russia/Spain.
ENG/ UKR
France/ Egypt.
Poland/ Italy
Germ/TURK
25 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Interesting theory. Are you claiming Spain as your buddy?
25 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Is Egypt your buddy?
25 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Why don't we all confirm or deny right here, no lies. I'll start. My buddy is Switzerland. Unfortunately they've decided to remain neutral for this one, again.
25 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: My buddy is the US. I expect them to show up several turns from now, so watch out!
25 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: France has no friends in the US
25 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1994: Only among the majority of people who live on the coasts, where people are have a lot more respect for the French than they do for people in the south and midwest.
