07 Jul 17 UTC France you're a dumbass
07 Jul 17 UTC Good game
07 Jul 17 UTC gg
07 Jul 17 UTC I imagine France judged that he should not fight to secure a draw he would be eliminated from anyway. Was he wrong? You gave no indication of keeping him alive, England.
I don't think you can blame him for this.
07 Jul 17 UTC I know but still, this is a secure way to lose, if you keep going there's always a chance
07 Jul 17 UTC Also I'm a little butthurt
07 Jul 17 UTC Understandable, but not everyone has the same goal as you. Perhaps he considered it more important to make sure someone else lost, rather than him having a small chance to draw.
I agree this should've been a 3-way draw (EFT), but that only works if everyone understands the plan. Sitting at only 3 centres with you on his doorstep, it must've been difficult for France to see your plan. Unless your real plan was a 2-way draw, because that seemed obvious. But why would France help you achieve a 2-way without him?
07 Jul 17 UTC England, it looks like you kept going after France even though Turkey was a solo threat. I would have done the same as France in that situation.
07 Jul 17 UTC I have to agree England, it was hard to figure France's motives at times. I was obviously opening against Austria and he used that army to break my support of Vienna. He never took a single center from me the whole game, and I even withdrew from the Western Med without making a move to Spain. I thought I was being pretty clear that I didn't want a fight with him. Italian fleets in the Med would have gone a long way toward containing Turkey especially if I had some control of Austria's centers.
07 Jul 17 UTC Please don't read that as a complaint. He played a good game a lived to see the end of it. I just didn't understand his reasoning. As Italy, I made a choice to open against Austria knowing there was the chance that France would capitalize.
07 Jul 17 UTC It also didn't help your plan that I am a firm believer that Austria and Italy must cooperate or they both die. If I can help it, at least.
07 Jul 17 UTC Well at least we were friends in the end ;-)
07 Jul 17 UTC Yes, I did survive thanks to you :-)
07 Jul 17 UTC England, you're a rude asshole.

What behavior do you people not understand? I moved to Tyrolia in an attempt to flank Germany. Obviously without talking this is very difficult to do, but there's no other way to take Munich without support from the north.

Otherwise, I did exactly what I needed to to survive. Why are you people even talking about a draw? England and Turkey didn't want a draw, so my goal was to make sure SOMEONE solo'ed before I died. Turkey was the better candidate, so I fought England.

Maybe before you throw shade at a player with 10x as much experience as you, England, you should try to understand the situation first.
07 Jul 17 UTC I apologize France, as I said, I was a little butthurt. Still, if I was in your situation I would've tried until i die to be stuck in the draw. Is it wrong?
08 Jul 17 UTC I don't really know how that was going to happen. Again, neither you nor Turkey was voting for a draw, so given your drives to solo, I could only try to keep my head above water.
08 Jul 17 UTC Yeah France, I kind of figured it was something like that. I only play gunboat once in a great while and the tactics when you cannot talk are beyond me most of the time.
08 Jul 17 UTC Yeah sorry it didn't work out. Didn't mean to cause chaos in the east.
