10 Jul 17 UTC Kind of wondered about how Egypt and Persia were so coordinated :/ they play in a lot of games together already. Sort of defeats the idea of Anon...
10 Jul 17 UTC ?
Lol. Please, please bring your concerns to the mods and ask if they see any hint of cheating or collusion. Really. I'll wait.
10 Jul 17 UTC Nah don't care enough for that but rather just wondered how that was the case :P

That would require same IP so likely wont matter as I am not exactly saying it the same player.
10 Jul 17 UTC If you suspect cheating, then stand up and report it. Otherwise you're just expressing sour grapes and inexperienced accusations.

This was a great game, requiring several shifts. Persia and I did straighten out our early conflict when it appeared a 3-way draw was the best likely scenario for either. Peace with Persia was in my best interest with Rome growing and Carthage inexplicably attacking me despite Rome plowing into him. We should have ended in a draw, but three NMRs from Rome gave Persia the opening he needed. I saw it and covered myself in time (always expecting to lose Cyprus), but Rome and I just couldn't coordinate effectively enough to stop the solo. Rome, I wish you had seen that my army was coming over to help - it would do nothing for me to take any of your centers, and you needed more units to form and hold a line. It's understandable though, as it's difficult to read intentions and plan ahead over several turns without communicating. Despite Hellion's interpretations.

Well played Poohbelly. Too bad the NMRs had such an impact, but such is diplomacy. You earned it nonetheless.
10 Jul 17 UTC I picked up Rome late in the game, so I had no idea what was going on lol

Sorry Egypt!
10 Jul 17 UTC No worries, it's tough to jump into a gunboat at such a critical stage and make all the right moves. Thank you for taking over.
11 Jul 17 UTC GG all. Just saw the texts. I assure you I had no idea who was playing. I don't even remember Brian being in a previous game of mine either, so it sounds like sour grapes.

Yeah the NMR's was a shame, although I was surprised how crap I was at breaking thru while Greece was awol. I think a bigger benefit was the too-late teaming to block me. Near the end, maybe an adventurous Egyptian fleet attack and Roman land attacks, rather than predictable supports, would have stalled me enough to stop the bickering in the westlands?

Quick defense around Sinai in the end Egypt. I don't think I've ever seen Persia get into Egypt, and I had 7v2 East of Crete!
