11 May 17 UTC Also, this game was a blast everyone!
11 May 17 UTC why I am I getting complicated when NY is shit
11 May 17 UTC Everyone, I've really enjoyed this game. Thanks for staying committed and disciplined in having your orders in on time, and for putting up a fight. To those I've collaborated with and stabbed (Cuba, Quebec, Heartland, Peru - and soon Florida): I've really enjoyed our collaboration and I hope you'll forgive me someday. Those I've fought without stabbing (BC, California, Texas) - thanks for putting up an enjoyable fight. I've had a blast playing the game with the only exception being one particular player's arrogance that really irritated me to a point where I altered my strategy. Mexico: you're unique in this game in the sense that we've never touched borders and consequently never fought. I've enjoyed our diplomatic relations, thanks for that.
11 May 17 UTC fuck you
11 May 17 UTC lol
11 May 17 UTC Classic moresunward
12 May 17 UTC sorry, good game
12 May 17 UTC Florida is an idiot
12 May 17 UTC Stop calling Florida an idiot. Once my expansion started I never gave Florida the opportunity of attacking me as I always had the upper hand. When Brad joined the game I was already way beyond being stoppable.

My short EOG recap: I believe the key to the game was to identify the enemies of my enemies in the early game. I must admit that in the early game I offered Cuba an alliance against Florida, which Cuba didn't want to take. I was afraid that this would mean Peru would get access to the Carribean, so I decided the best move was to side with Florida, eliminate Cuba quickly and secure the Atlantic Ocean. I'm still quite happy with how that played out with the convoy to DomRep which ruined his defences completely just before the stab. This obviously was good for Florida too, so our early alliance got momentum and we could set up a trust zone in VA/EC which helped us both a lot throughout the game as it freed our units so we could both use them where needed. With our momentum I felt it was a race between me and Florida, a race in which I had the upper hand - but I realized that it would be hard to reach the west coast which was needed for the win. Therefore I wanted BC to attack Quebec so that Quebec would have to chose to work with me against Heartland. After that I had a few critical moments where I wanted to attack Quebec, but without allowing BC to gain access to the Atlantic Ocean. That worked really well with a 3 SC stab, and from there I really had a highway to the win despite the west coast powers' last minute scramble, which needed to have come 1-2 years sooner for it to actually work. I'm happy to discuss the game further if anyone wants that.

Good game all. C U in another game
