Game drawn
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: To be honest, this site is full of people who play for a 3/4 way draw. I don't know why people play that way. Play for the win and draw when necessary, don't play for the draw from the get-go.
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: I always play with a win in mind but a stab is only useful to win at the appropriate time. Often, 3 way draws are easier and they don't take as long
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: There's a solid balance of power here that makes a stab and solo unlikely. But of course, I am ever wary.
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: I guess it's just unfortunate that I would say 80%+ games end in a draw when there is still plenty of play left just because "it's easier". It is what it is, just unfortunate how common it is.
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: I think part of the tendency to draw in the later part of the game is simply players wanting the game to end and sooner rather than later. Most don't have the stamina to go for the win. But I think Frabce is right, in this case it a pretty balanced board
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Well frankly I'm hoping to end all my current games asap
but of course I'm not the one with solo potential so
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Fair enough, the turns take forever especially waiting 24h per turn when some people don't ready just to drag it on. To me, I like to see games unravel to the end because it's more fun. Wouldn't it be interesting to see how power shifts if you three had a win in mind rather than a draw in a few turns?

And trust me, I don't HATE drawing, just a few games ago I was Turkey and had to draw with 17 SCs because the remaining 3 had stopped me, but I stabbed my two allies to do so. I just like to exhaust all options before drawing :)
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: For me, Germany has been a fair, helpful ally. Why would I turn on him now? That would start an all out war and make the game last forever! Why not share the winnings with a good partner?
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Because the objective of the game is not to take out a few people and draw, it's to hold 18 SCs and reign Europe of course!
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Yea
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Lets share the pot
26 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: We dont like to share that much
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: What a turn
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Germany ma boyni knew I liked you
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Just building a better defensive line against the more powerful Russia.
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: France, lets move picardy and belgium, I think those units can be put to better use
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: better use in pursuing a 3 way draw?
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: yea, de militarizing that area puts us both at ease
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: we can move them down towards italy
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Why are you attacking Russia?
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: I'm not, he's about to finish Austria and Turkey, that leaves Italy and then we can draw. I'm moving into a better stalemate line just in case he decides to try the solo after he gets the next 3 SC's. With my units the way they are now, I can set up a line that he likely wont break through.
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: Feel free to move Belgium away. I'll not stab you no matter what I do, as I have no solo potential.
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: okay sounds good
27 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1910: We're good for three way. No plans to att k. But now I'll have to be defensive! :)
28 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: Russia, would you support hold budapest?
28 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: You mean Trieste from Budapest?
28 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: Yep that's what I mean
28 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: I'm just taking Tunis and chilling
Don't mind me
30 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1911: Germany... France... You gonna help eliminate Italy so we can draw?
30 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1911: yes
30 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1911: Why is Italy resisting?
30 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1911: Tunis to Tyrr
30 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Tyrr to Napoli
30 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1912: I've got Rome, France if you want to support me there from Tuscany then we finish him this year
30 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Why? You can double support
30 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Only one support
31 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Well, me cutting support from Naples amounts to the same in the end doesn't it?
31 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1912: yeah so it doesnt really matter
31 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1912: Sorry, France. Hadn't seen the Tyr to Napoli note. Had already submittted my orders...
31 Jan 17 UTC Bullshit
I was the last one to ready up last game
My comment was made at literally minute 0
Germany get ready for a stab
31 Jan 17 UTC Ready for it, hoping it doesn't happen
31 Jan 17 UTC my vote is up, lets see who keeps their word
31 Jan 17 UTC gg
01 Feb 17 UTC France, why are you so damn bitter?.. What have I done to you? have I not been fair to you? Stop tempting me to go for the win with your crazy talk! :)
01 Feb 17 UTC I think France is just ready to put this game to bed, just waiting on your vote now Russia.
01 Feb 17 UTC I'm not bitter. Did I give off that impression?

I just knew you were lying and warned my partner. See, it's already true since otherwise the game would be drawn right now.

At this point trying to justify your position is pointless. Just play for the win or draw.
01 Feb 17 UTC Never lied to you. Maple was an honest, missed communication. Torn between squashing you and keeping my word to Germany. :) just stalling... :)
01 Feb 17 UTC gg
01 Feb 17 UTC well I appreciate that you did. GG
01 Feb 17 UTC GG!

FYI - I tend to be sarcastic which sometimes can come across as "A$$ Hole" instead of humorous in text. :)
