Game drawn
14 Dec 16 UTC I think there was more play left in this game, but I saw that everyone else had his draw and didn't want to hold it up.
14 Dec 16 UTC I'm my view, Spain and Poland could have kept going. As for me, I had only downside. Gg all.
14 Dec 16 UTC if i had any indication that poland was going to pressure italy, i would have continued, but it didn't look that way.
14 Dec 16 UTC Yup, and that meant I was more likely target for full wrath.
14 Dec 16 UTC Quite generous to me and Russia. GG.

Egypt, you were a tough opponent. Sorry for relentlessly attacking you, but in light of the geography I really see no way to survive as Turkey in Modern Gunboat unless Egypt is completely crushed. In lieu of holding onto my northern lands, I made that my sole objective...
14 Dec 16 UTC Egypt vs Turkey is a match to the death to Modern indeed! I came out the loser in that one, so I just had to make sure you came down with me. In the end, the draw came quite early and I didn't even achieve that. :-)
14 Dec 16 UTC Why were you up my ass all game Germany? Never made a move against you.
14 Dec 16 UTC Germany and Spain had a strange love affair out west. Germany you could have easily taken all of the UK...not sure why you didnt.
14 Dec 16 UTC Italy, you were top dog. I worked with Spain to make sure you didn't run away with a solo. That drove most of my decisions.
14 Dec 16 UTC Germany was hardly up your ass. i would have preferred to focus north and push into germany's zone, but everyone else on the board seemed happy to move away from italy and let you walk into all the centers around you.
14 Dec 16 UTC thank you for drawing. In fact I would have died in a couple of years. gg all
14 Dec 16 UTC the fleet build in london made me think that i would have to start fighting with germany, and that would have meant a solo for italy
14 Dec 16 UTC Yup, that's why I built it there! Glad you got the message!
14 Dec 16 UTC ...I wanted you to click draw.
15 Dec 16 UTC Germany/Spain - you're right for the most part, I didn't have any intention of moving on Italy anytime soon, and this seemed like a decent time to draw. Although we may have been about to inadvertently butt heads in the Black Sea, so who knows.
